Chapter 530 - Chapter 0525: The Eternal Flame

Looking at the cold bodies laid out on the stretchers...

One could tell that each had been among the most valiant warriors in life. They had gone through fierce and brutal battles, and even in death, had taken down countless enemies with them. They had fought with the blood and pride of the human race. Not a single coward among them—every one of them was a true warrior, a real man.

Even now, gazing upon the corpses, one could almost see the scenes of their desperate last stands. The fierce glint of determination in their eyes, the will to drag their enemies into death with them—a terrifying resolve to die together in mutual destruction.

"Kill!!"

"We are the Human Race, not prey! Anyone who dares hunt us is our enemy! Kill! Kill! Kill!!"

"Even in death, we will not shame our people. We will not disgrace Xuanhuang City. If we must die, then we die together!"

Staring at the fallen martyrs on the stretchers, it was as though everyone had been transported to the battlefield, witnessing that brutal and tragic war firsthand. There was no cowardice. No retreat. Even in death, their spines remained unbent—straight and unyielding.

They had never bowed.

"War! War! War!!"

No one knew who started it, but a long, impassioned shout rang out—full of fighting spirit.

Each word struck directly into the hearts of the crowd. The shout was instantly echoed by the entire army. The 100,000 troops standing outside the village joined in unison, their fighting spirit surging like a storm.

"Heaven's thunder for drums, earth for graves, a thousand miles of blood-clouds light our way."

"Savage wilds, arrogant foes, the Human Race shall never be humiliated!"

"Heads may roll, blood may spill, but our iron will fights for all under heaven!"

"With ninety-nine steel blades in hand, we swear not to rest until the alien races fall!"

The battle anthem echoed through the sky, sweeping over the village of Yuguo. Countless common folk joined in the singing. The song stirred their very blood. Their beliefs and resolve grew stronger and clearer.

Watching these blood-soaked warriors, those who died for the dignity of the Human Race, every heart felt purified.

Facing these young faces who had paid the ultimate price, what excuse did they have to live passively or with weakness? The dignity they now possessed was won with the lives of these fallen heroes—earned through bloodshed and battle.

"Kill! Kill! Kill!!"

"Beasts may rage, enemies may rise, but men wield blade and spear!"

"Blades to sever heads, spears to slaughter gods. Be it deity or demon, only those slain are true foes."

"An undying legacy through the ages, white bones dye the skies. For the sake of the Human Race, we shall slay millions!"

"Live as a legend, die a hero. With our undying souls, we will fight for peace!"

"Today, we cast away a thousand years of mercy and righteousness, and drink the blood of the myriad races. We walk on mountains of bones. Weakness has no place with us. We'll slay millions without regret. Better to be cursed by all than pitied by none!"

Countless soldiers and civilians roared with all their might. These cries came from the very depths of the Human soul. They echoed the will of the fallen warriors—offering their bodies and undying spirits to carve out peace, dignity, and an indomitable reputation for the Human Race.

"Dao! Dao!! Dao!!!" Yi Tianxing raised his head and let out a long howl.

"Heaven's Dao is heartless, Earth's Dao is indifferent, only the Human Dao is found in blood!"

"Human hearts are tempted by emotion and desire, good and evil are parts of human nature. But also weakness and cowardice. Today, these shall be cast away."

"Goodness is human heart, evil is demonic nature. Today, I choose to be both man and demon—to cut away all cowardice and frailty!"

"Blood is fire, bones are fuel. When the blood dries and the bones crumble, they ignite the flame. The flame of the Human Race shall never be extinguished!"

The Third Battle Anthem rang out—resolute and powerful, with a determination to abandon everything for the Human Race, to become the eternal kindling flame. To burn away one's body and the enemy alike. To become the light that leads the way.

Not for Heaven's Dao.Not for Earth's Dao.But for Humanity's Dao to endure.

These warriors fought for the future of the Human Race. They died with honor, willingly giving their lives. To fight for dignity. To kill with the fury of human blood. As long as that fury remained, the Human Race would never fall.

No matter how often they were knocked down, they would rise again.

"Souls of our heroic fallen, return to us!!"

No one knew who started it, but a low chant echoed forth.

"Souls of our heroic fallen, return to us!!"

Soon, one after another, the civilians began to whisper the same chant.

The army drew nearer.

When they met up with Yang Ye's 100,000-strong force, no words were needed. Soldiers stepped forward of their own accord, taking stretchers from their comrades and lifting the fallen upon their shoulders. The bodies weren't heavy, but they bore a weight that was impossible to describe.

They carried the weight of a nation.

"Let's go home!"

Yi Tianxing took a deep breath. With a wave of his hand, a giant spatial gate appeared in front of them.

The army passed through in order, no scrambling, no chaos.

The gate spanned across villages and towns. At every stop, the local residents spontaneously came out to see the martyrs off, and battle anthems resounded through the sky.

Everywhere they went, the people felt their souls cleansed. A deep pride surged in their hearts.

This was the Human Race. Our Human Race is no weaker than any other.

In the woods near Yuguo Village, many hidden alien races silently observed the Human army returning. But none made a move.

In the days that followed, hardly any alien race tried to attack.

It wasn't because they didn't want to. It was because it was pointless.

They had tried frontal assaults, assassinations, poisons, traps—nothing worked. They could not halt the Human army's advance, nor could they kill Yi Tianxing. Eventually, they realized that to kill Yi Tianxing, even with his Life Aperture Realm cultivation, would require a top-tier alien treasure.

But no alien race was united enough to sacrifice that.

The Eight Gates Lock-Gold Formation was too strong. Breaking it would require sacrificing thousands of their own, and no one was willing to make that move.

"Human Race, Xuanhuang City, Yi Tianxing… We must keep a close eye on them. They may be weak at birth, but once they grow… they are truly terrifying."

"We should avoid conflict. Better yet, make peace. The Human Race has so many unique treasures, weapons, and resources—they're incredibly valuable. Our Foxkin tribe must make a choice. If we gain their friendship, the profits could be massive."

On a towering tree, Hu Li, the eldest daughter of the Foxkin Tribe, whispered to herself.

The Human Race had already demonstrated strength equal to any other race. They now stood on equal footing. In the past, she would never have believed it. Humans had always seemed weak—too weak to matter.

But now, the situation had changed.

This recognition of equality was natural, born from an instinctive shift in perception.

That was the power of true strength.

"Human Race? Yi Tianxing? Interesting… But no matter how great their potential, how could they ever compare to my Three-Eyed Divine Clan?"

Tong Tiexin, watching the Human army depart, showed no respect on his face.

To him, few races in the world could compare to his own. The bloodline of his people was noble and divine. No race could rival them.

Yi Tianxing's strength might be decent—but so what? That didn't mean he was stronger. Without fighting, who could say for sure?

His own trump cards were not weak.

"Move it! Hurry up, damn it!"

"Follow me! Whoever dares slack off, don't blame me for being ruthless!"

"If not for my kindness, I wouldn't even acknowledge you lot as kin. Once we reach Xuanhuang City, you better not embarrass me in front of Master!"

Just then, an obnoxious voice echoed from the forest. Barked orders and scoldings followed—instantly familiar to all alien races.

"Oh no… it's that dog!"

Someone cried out instinctively, their body trembling.

Looking over, they saw a swarm of Kobolds—with grotesque faces, some frail, some old, even little pups among them.

It was clearly a tribal migration.

Eight Kobolds carried a sedan chair, upon which lay Green Emperor, his green fur shining. He waved a paw imperiously, barking orders left and right.

One!

Two!

A hundred!

Three thousand!

Soon, tens of thousands of Kobolds poured from the forest—a sea of figures as far as the eye could see.

DONG! DONG! DONG!

Alarms rang through the skies above Yuguo Village.
