I approached the Space-time Distortion nearest to me.
These distortions house extremely rare Pokèmon. Especially Pokèmon from Hisui!
The ancient region housed many wonderous Pokèmon... While going inside one may be risky, the benefits often payed off.
"Hey Maigo.. go back to Julia and say I entered a Space-time Distortion.. I want to see what I can catch in it.."
Maigo nods, already knowing what these are... And she started walking back to Julia.
After seeing her walk away, I and Honedge enter the Distortion. The one I entered was extremely Small, it might even Just House a Single Pokèmon..
I entered the Distortion, and I see a the back of a Gray Pokèmon with spots of Purple all throughout its body,
"Snea?"
The Pokèmon turned back and looked at me, readying a fighting stance... It definitely looks familiar. But its also not?
I took out my Pokèdex and scanned the Gray Pokèmon....

I see. Its a Hissuian Sneasel... That's why its familiar.
Raiya has a Sneasel, and it definitely looks like one.
"Snea.."
The Sneasel looks like it wants to fight.... Currently Honedge is level 17, so this Sneasel is a higher level.
But Honedge has a type advantage against it... So to oblige, I go for the first move.
"Honedge! Use Swords Dance!"
Four swords surrounded Honedge, and after a few spins, the swords raised and increased Honedge's attack sharply.
The Sneasel Went for a Quick Attack to surprise the Red Sword..
But the Sneasel just passed right through Honedge..
Normal type moves have no effect on ghost types...
"Snea???"
The Sneasel must not know about Honedge's typing, after that move failure. It adjusted with a Taunt.
The taunt worked and Honedge now can't set-up anymore... So I call out an attack.
"Honedge, Don't Unsheathe and use Gyro Ball!"
Honedge began spinning, the momentum built up and it moved quite fast..
Gyro Ball is always a fast move despite its power being based off how slow the user is..
And Honedge's Speed stat is definitely very low. So with a Swords Dance, this one Gyro Ball should be enough to KO the Sneasel.
The Sneasel responds with a Metal Claw, with a loud clang Honedge got stoped, but one of Sneasel's claws got cracked in the process.
While Honedge reamined undented due to the Metal Claw being not very effective.
I like this Sneasel. It has guts despite it being in a extremely huge disadvantage,
"Honedge Unsheath and escape, then follow up with a Shadow Claw!"
While being stuck did hinder Honedge, since it was still in its sheath, it simply Unsheathed to get out of Sneasel's hold.
Honedge's swordtip had a claw on it and used it to slash at Sneasel, forcing it back and letting go of Honedge's Sheath.
"Now, end it with a Steel Beam!"
Honedge fired off a beam of white, lowering its HP to half.
The Sneasel, still recovering from the Shadow Claw, couldn't dodge and got hit by the Steel Beam. And it fainted.
"Honedge, use rest."
While Honedge used rest, I took out a Pokèball from my bag and threw it at it Sneasel.

I took the Pokèball in my hands and returned Honedge, and replaced it with Hawlucha to keep me Company.
"Haw!"
Hawlucha followed me back to where Maigo and Julia are...
"So.. what's the haul?"
Julia said as she saw me approach them, I held up a Pokèball and smirked, Larvesta being very antisocial, was a few meters away from Julia.
"Ohh you caught something? Show me Show me!"
I sighed and shook my head
"Its Pokèball is locked.... Its a higher level than my Thwakey sadly. So it'll be a surprise next time.."
Julia nods understandingly, and she backed off her demands
"Do you two want to look for more Pokèmon together? There's still a few Distortions we can explore. "
Julia's eyes lit up and began considering it, but decides against it since her team is.... Quite full already.
Maigo didn't even consider it, she already has a new Pokèmon... And it was already getting late.
"A no from both? Then lets go. I don't think i want a Gimmighoul anymore."
The three of us took the route back to the entrance... I still need to level up Thwakey before I can use Sneasel.
We went to my Dorm room and we all took a few snacks upstairs to my room for a meeting.
"Come out Gimmeghoul!"
A chest then came out of the Pokèball, and the said chest opened up to reveal the little Gimmeghoul inside..
"Gimmi!"
Maigo plays with it a little bit before I caughed and held out a rare candy
"Here's a rare candy. You should probably evolve Gimmighoul."
With the Gimmighoul receiving the coins from Maigo before it got caught, a level up should cause an evolution...
"But uh... I want to make bets with Julia first."
Maigo nods and took the rare candy, and Julia smiles
"How many coins will be left over after Maigo evolves Gimmighoul?"
Maigo frowns. Gimmighoul's coins are more like an illusion, the coins she gave it didn't even add to the pile.. so the Gimmighoul might actually have a litlle amount of coins since it has not dropped any of its.
"I'm betting 1,000 points that it has 200 coins inside.."
Julia smiles and makes her bet
"Nah its going to be 50!"
Julia and I both stare at each other and Maigo unwraps the candy
"Okay... I'm gonna feed it the candy,"
Maigo's hand approached Gimmighoul's mouth and was fed the rare candy, as it chewed and swallowed.
The light of evolution started and a wave of anticipation went over me and Julia...
The Light faded and out popped a gooden string cheese shaped Pokèmon...
And its body was half inside a pile of coins...

" 777 lucky jackpot?"
All three of us yelled in Unison at Maigo's insane luck and the lost bet...
