The sun rose in the east.
Mist thinned across the sky.
A ray of morning light pierced the clouds, breaking through the fog of the valley like an arrow that had traveled across a hundred years, landing upon the central peak of Hell Valley.
A layer of golden light spread across the grass. Crystal-clear dewdrops hung from flowers and blades of grass, glittering brilliantly.
The golden radiance shone perfectly upon the center of the mountain.
From beneath the dirt, the corner of a coffin emerged—faintly showing the Uchiha fan crest carved upon its surface.
The Edo Tensei Uchiha who had been digging froze for a moment. Then, seeing Uchiha Yu approach, he called out excitedly:
"Lord Yu, we've found it!"
"Good. I'll remember you."
Uchiha Yu nodded.
The reanimated Uchiha immediately brightened with pride.
The other Uchiha joined him, working together to clear the remaining soil from the coffin.
They were equally excited—filled with emotion, yet also a trace of sorrow. The clan elder had been right after all.
"There really was a sealing technique capable of sealing a shinobi for hundreds of years…"
Tsunade widened her eyes, staring at the coffin in disbelief.
Within the spiritual prison space, Hashirama voiced the same amazement as his granddaughter.
Tobirama, however, remained silent.
After inspecting the coffin through his senses, he shook his head lightly.
Uchiha Yu said, "At least the Senju did one decent thing—they used an Uchiha coffin before sealing him."
"Tch—" Tsunade shot Uchiha Yu a disdainful look. "We're not as crude as the Uchiha. The Senju have always respected strong individuals. Besides, his background was… complicated. Showing respect was only natural."
While they spoke—
The dirt was cleared, revealing the full coffin lid.
Pure white, slightly smaller than normal—clearly custom-made. Its surface was covered in seal patterns that had dimmed to the very brink of disappearing.
"It's incredible… after being sealed for centuries, the coffin hasn't decayed at all."
Tsunade marveled.
Uchiha Yu crouched before the coffin, brushing away the last bit of dirt from the lid. "We can thank the seals for that. But after so many years, they're already at their limit."
"So if the seal on the coffin is undone… will the person inside wake up?"
Tsunade asked.
She didn't know much about sealing techniques—like how she still couldn't undo the 'Tongue Curse Seal of Root Eradication' Yu had placed on her.
As for why Orochimaru could unravel Danzō's Root Cursed Tongue Seal—
That was because, in his youth, Orochimaru had briefly served under Danzō. After leaving Root, he had studied the seal thoroughly.
Inside the seal space—
Tobirama replied instinctively, "No. Once the coffin's outer seal disappears, the one inside will likely die."
Uchiha Yu dutifully repeated Tobirama's words to Tsunade.
Tobirama was speechless.
That was supposed to be my line!
Tsunade asked:
"Why would he die?"
Instead of answering immediately, Uchiha Yu placed his right hand on the edge of the coffin lid.
Tsunade and all the Uchiha watched with tense anticipation… Hashirama and Tobirama's expressions grew equally serious.
No one knew what exactly had been sealed inside this coffin.
A so-called "Uchiha humanoid war weapon"—the phrase alone conjured unsettling images. What kind of monstrous human could earn such a terrifying title?
Suddenly—
Everyone sensed a ferocious, violent chakra stirring extremely close to them.
Their gazes snapped back toward Uchiha Yu—whose body had begun to emit faint, shimmering purple light.
The other Uchiha didn't react too strongly; by now, they were used to being shocked by him.
That was… purple chakra!
"Monster Strength!"
Tsunade's red lips parted slightly, her pretty face once again showing an expression of shock.
That was the Senju clan's inherited Monster Strength—how could Uchiha Yu, an Uchiha, possibly use such an ability?
Right now, Uchiha Yu was doing exactly what Hashirama had taught him earlier: as his chakra circulated through his meridians, he instantly activated all his tenketsu, released his power, and concentrated it into his right arm.
He hadn't expected to succeed on the first try.
Of course, the extent to which he could draw out his full strength was still limited—but even this was already enough.
Inside the prison-space—
Hashirama praised, "He already managed to grasp the basics of Monster Strength?"
Creak—
The coffin lid groaned.
Uchiha Yu gradually increased the force in his right hand. All of his power gathered and flowed evenly into his arm, and the purple chakra around him deepened in color.
As his strength increased, the coffin lid began to loosen, the curve bending more and more.
Tsunade only had to glance at him once to know that he was still just a beginner.
Once Monster Strength was fully mastered—like her—the user's body no longer emitted any glow when releasing it.
But she was still shocked that Uchiha Yu could even learn Monster Strength in the first place. Could he have accidentally obtained a Senju clan ninjutsu scroll?
But then—
Boom—
A dull sound rang out. The seal remaining on the coffin lid was forcibly broken by Uchiha Yu's Monster Strength.
The lid was lifted.
Dust drifted in the sunlight, illuminating the pale interior of the coffin.
Tsunade, the other reanimated Uchiha, and even Hashirama and Tobirama all froze.
Only Uchiha Yu remained calm as he gazed at the figure lying at the center.
Inside the coffin—
A teenage girl lay on a white pillow, eyes closed, hands resting on her abdomen, serene and silent.
She had the iconic long Uchiha hair, and her face was even more delicate than Sasuke's—her features elegant, her skin pale and flawless.
She wore the Uchiha clan's blue high-collared attire. She had no shoes on; her feet were clean and spotless.
The sunlight falling on her cheeks gave her that unique aura of an Uchiha girl in her youth. In that instant, the colorful flowers around them seemed to dim, as though they existed solely to bloom for her.
She looked fragile at first glance, yet her brows carried the Uchiha's proud sharpness—like a Sleeping Beauty slumbering for hundreds of years.
Uchiha Hikari.
Uchiha Yu withdrew his gaze, wearing Itachi's face, and turned to Tsunade:
"Once the coffin's seal disappears, the coffin will begin to decay. When that happens, her internal life force will probably reach its limit. In the years that follow, she would slowly be consumed by time together with the rotting coffin—until nothing remains but bones."
Hearing this, Tsunade murmured blankly, "The Uchiha clan's war weapon… is actually a girl…"
Her words echoed the thoughts of the reanimated Uchiha present, as well as Hashirama.
The reincarnated Uchiha fell into silence.
This girl was truly their ancestor—physically still a teenager, yet with an age that spanned centuries.
Only Tobirama showed a moment of surprise before his expression returned to its usual coldness. He said in a low voice:
"It's easy to imagine how desperate the Uchiha must have been back then—forced by the Senju to the point they turned a girl like this into a weapon of war."
Hashirama looked up at the sky, sighing helplessly.
"My original intention in creating the Hidden Villages was to stop sending children onto the battlefield—to keep them from witnessing the cruelest struggles of this world."
Uchiha Yu ignored the melancholy of the two Hokage.
He looked at Tsunade again. "And it was your Senju clan that forced them into it."
Tsunade's brows tightened. She muttered,
"Don't dump all the blame on the Senju…"
