Chapter 30 - Chapter 30

|3rd POV|

The people look at the massive man sending an army of drones and changing the land around them. Orin is currently using his technology to terraform Kuo Kuana so it can produce enough food for all the faunus and future faunus who stay in the city.

Not only that, he is also creating a massive dome on the edge of the city with the permission of Alternate Ghira. He immediately agreed after he learned the function of the dome. It is a very advanced hydroponic farm that will be the one feeding the people.

"Who is he?" Alternate Ghira says while looking at the other Ghira. "Seriously, who is he?"

Sienna frowns a little and says.

"What do you mean? You should have an Orin of your own."

"I would know if there is someone as massive as him, Sienna. No. I don't know who this Orin is. I already checked the civilian data, and there is no Orin in Menagerie."

Sienna's frown gets deeper, and she looks at the Alternate Sienna.

"You should know Orin. We are the ones who stand next to him against the Grimm!"

Alternate Sienna frowns and thinks for a few seconds before shaking her head.

"No. I don't know any Orin."

Sienna looks at her counterpart for a few seconds before realizing something. She looks at her counterpart in shock and disbelief.

"No… It can't be. Do you leave him behind?!"

Sienna grabs her counterpart by the clothes and shakes her.

"What?"

"Did you leave him behind!? At the Grimm Wave! When Kano Village still stands! Did you leave him behind?! A young lion faunus with golden hair. The only faunus with two animal traits in the last century! The one who holds his ground while letting the old and young escape! Did you help him?! Did you help him fight the Grimm, or did you run away?! Answer me!"

Alternate Sienna widens her eyes as she remembers the figure she left behind in the past. She remembers a young man—a unique young man with two animal traits: a pair of ears and a tail. The man is unremarkable, average in all. However, she remembers him standing in the path of the grimm wave while letting the civilian run away. What he has done is commendable, but sacrificing yourself for others is not rare, and she does not want to die. She and her squad run away, leaving him behind. She was young and not as brave.

"Y-You leave him behind. Y-You are running away just like those cowards. H-How could you?"

Sienna says that after seeing the reaction of her counterpart, she releases a groan and sighs before sitting on the ground. It is good that the reporters are busy fussing over Orin, or they will create something outrageous from this interaction. She covers her face with her hands. Her people look at the alternate Sienna in disbelief.

"Y-You kill him." Fennec Alabain looked at Sienna in anger and shock. "You kill the Chosen One! The one who brings prosperity to Faunus' kind. That is why this place is still like this! That is why the guards are holding wooden spears! You do not have anyone making you weapons and repairing the broken ones. That is why there is no basic plumbing in this place! You anger God! You killed his son!"

As one of the two Grand Priests of the Animal God religion, he and his brother are the most affected by the news.

"W-What do you mean?" Kali walks forward and asks in confusion and hesitation. As a religious person, getting the news that one of your people is killing the chosen one will shake your faith really hard. "A-Are you sure he is the chosen one? Not the people you choose to be chosen by?"

Corsac Albain looks at her and says.

"We are more than sure." He looks at her seriously. "In less than two years, he revolutionized Menagerie! He brings food in our time of need and even leaves a lot for us to sell! He changed the entire island into the best technological country in the world! In less than two years, he made the CCT obsolete! In less than two years, he created a spaceship and let us go to an alternate reality! Also, look at him! Look at him and tell me what you see! Look at him and tell me directly in my eyes that he is not the son of a god!"

One by one, the people around him look at Orin and are immediately affected by his Primarch Aura. They look at him in awe as he orders the army of drones and feel something inside their soul move when they see him smile as children gather around him, playing with him while he is working.

Even Ozpin, the man who sees Gods with his own eyes, thinks that Orin is the son of a God. However, in his mind, Orin is the son of the God of Light.

Ghira walks forward and says.

"Let's not play the blame game. We can talk about that later. For now, we need to discuss something. There must be a reason why Orin takes us here. There must be something that we need to do here other than helping our fellow faunus in this world."

Sienna gets up, gives the Alternate Sienna one last glare, and says.

"You are right. I already think of it and know at least one reason."

She looks at James and Ozpin.

"Have you killed the traitor to all living beings?"

Ozpin looks at her in confusion and says.

"What do you mean?"

"The group of people that work with the Queen of Grimm, Salem."

He looks at her in shock and quickly whispers.

"You know about her."

"Of course, we know. Orin already takes care of the traitor and prepares to take her out for good. According to you, your counterpart, she might be immortal, but Orin thinks that her so-called blessing is like dust and will stop working when she leaves the atmosphere."

Ozpin looks at her in shock and berates himself for not thinking about that option. Dust might not work when it reaches the Mesosphere of Remnant, but they can think of something that lets them throw her into a higher point of the atmosphere to kill her.

"If that is not working, he is planning on using the power of the sun to kill her. It will take time, but a few more years is not that long. Let's go to a private room. We will tell you what you need to hear."

I order the last group of drones to return to Genesis and look at the others. I smile at them and say.

"That's it for today, folks! The dome is done, and the next step is planting the vegetables, fruits, and grains. However, it can be done tomorrow. You guys can go back now."

"Awwww~"

I chuckle as the reporter and the people release an 'aww' complaint. I walk to Genesis, and while walking, I call Alice through my Omni-Tool.

"Alice, are the others done talking? I can see them walking to Ghira's house earlier."

"They are currently talking about handling Cinder and her group, Father. Lady Sienna is explaining the treason she will commit and the kind of treachery her people will do. She already explains that Adam Taurus will be among the traitors, but the Alternate Sienna rejects the notion of him betraying Menagerie to join a terrorist."

"I see. That is good, I guess. Anyway, we need—"

Before I can finish my sentences, the company phone vibrates. However, unlike the usual vibration, it is 70% stronger. I took out my phone and saw it was Julia who was calling me. I answer the call and say.

"Julia? Do you need something?"

"My lord, we need your help."

I frowned at the tone she used.

"What do you need?"

"The company is able to take over a planet in the Warhammer 40k universe. Sadly, Warp Storm swallows the planet before we can create a barrier around it. We are able to block 98% of the warp, but the rest of it creates a portal."

"Let me guess, coming from that portal are demons."

"That's right."

"Do you need me in the fight?"

"We already have agents on the planet's surface, ready to fight. The citizens of that planet are also willing to fight, and we have already given them immunity from daemonic corruption. However, they lack the firepower to fight the incursion."

"Ah, you want me to give them the tools."

"And also as the ace in the hole, in case they fail holding the daemons. We are willing to pay you 500 points and give you the planet."

"The 500 points are great, but what do I need a planet for?"

"Faith. As a patron, you are already a Nascent Divinity, Lord Orin. You are steadily gaining faith from the people in your world, but it will not solidify your Divinity Seed. However, we can change that. A planet full of worshippers will change that."

"That sounds like hard work to take care of."

"That is true. However, it is not as bad as you thought it was. As you are someone with a massive amount of technological knowledge and power, you can make something that elevates them. Think of the Omnissiah of the Adeptus Mechanicus. Instead of helping them through constant miracles, you can give them technologies that can elevate them into a high-level civilization."

"Right. What do I get from the faith?"

"The most basic one is physical enchantment. When you form your divinity seed, you will get stronger. As the seed blooms, you will receive an Authority in certain aspects of reality. Most likely, you will gain Technology as your aspect."

Huh. Not bad. Well, I don't really care. I prefer more points, but the planet will be useful for my bigger technology.

"I am in. When do you need me?"

"We will prepare the teleportation method. However, we need a week of your time to be done."

"Then I will prepare all the things I need. Can I bring my spaceship?"

"Even better. There is only one city, and there are around 10 million souls. The planet is a Victorian Era planet, but with guns. Previously, it was a forge world, but after thousands of years of technological decline, it returned to a Victorian Era-esque. It is not yet a Feudal World, but it is almost reaching that level of technology."

"Ah, I got the picture. That means my spaceship will help those people perfectly, huh?"

"That's right. It will also help with the scenario we have in mind."

"What?"

"To make the people worship you, we need to make them believe a God descends into the mortal realm, or at least its avatar. It will create a smoother process of your arrival."

"I will leave it to you guys regarding my arrival and such. I will prepare for my departure for now."

"Thank you for your help, My Lord. We will not forget this favor."

I put down the phone and look at Alice.

"Prepare the fabricator. We will do Macro-scale production. We need to revive a planet."
