Chapter 275: Results
~Azure S. POV~
[Hoenn Region, 5 Day Later, Route 105 – Island Cave]
*BOOOM*
*SHIII*
*SHINNG*
Overseeing my team's training, I smiled as they learned to coordinate their attacks perfectly well, along with handling the Regi's attacks with relative ease. Sceptile using Leaf Blade to counter Regirock's Rock Slide.
Gardevoir, Metagross, and Golduck are using Psychic to counter Regice's Ice Beam. From the sides, Manetric and Combusken are attacking with a Thunderbolt and Flamethrower, respectively, keeping their distance.
Crawdaunt blitzing side to side, fully stacked on Dragon Dance alongside Shelgon as they each landed a Crabhammer and Iron Head at Regirock. Ninetales used Will-o'-Wisp to inflict burn and other fire-type moves to cause some damage.
All of this was followed by Swampert unleashing an Ice Punch and Slaking a Focus Punch, both Regirock and Regice. Admittedly, they're taking some damage, not heavy, but some, which is impressive for the last 5 days they've been training.
Checking my Arc Phone, I smiled fondly as everyone jumped in levels. It makes me happy they're progressing this well, especially since they're facing off against Legendary Pokémon like the Regi duo.

I smiled contentedly viewing they're levels. They've all grown quickly in the past 5 days to acceptable levels, given the tight time restriction we'd still had left. Although they could've gone a bit higher levels, battling the Regi's I'm short on time.
Not only that, but I've also had to focus on what moves they needed to have and perfect their movements. The weakest of course is still Combusken, which means I'll have her at the front of most battles to have her catch up. Right next to Manetric, Shelgon, and Swampert, as I'll be planning to use those 4 against Norman.
But depending on how the situation progresses, I'll have to add my other powerhouses into the mix, say, either Metagross, Sceptile, Gardevoir, Slaking, Golduck, Ninetales, or Crawdaunt. Each powerful in they're own right.
Plus, not only that, even the Regis only leveled up once battling against them. Even if they don't provide much experience, they'll grow, adapt, and overcome.
Feeling confident in my path ahead, I took in a deep breath and exhaled. Pushing my hand over my hair, I muttered calmly, "But would it be enough, I wonder…"
I wonder if my team's growth is enough. I wonder about Team Aqua and Magma's plans as I've kept myself up on the news.
I've just learned that the Slateport City police station and Ship shipyard were hit by people wearing red hoods. Telltale sign of Team Magma obtaining the Scanner and the Submarine Explorer.
But the most important one was the lack of any news of Mt. Chimney, as I have no doubt Flannery would've alarmed the other Gym Leaders or the local police department. Better yet, the Pokémon Association in Hoenn of the details.
Yet nothing. No news about them except for the application webpage about them being an eco-friendly organization wanting to expand the sea.
Just goes to show how far they've come in the Hoenn Region's social media as they control the news. At the very least, they're sprouting propaganda about Team Magma being the bad guys in some parts of the region.
But I bet Archie must be fuming with rage as his plans for Mt. Chimney are all ruined trying to awaken Kyogure. Still, I shouldn't underestimate these guys in the slightest, as they might have backup plans.
Which reminds me that, further in the story, Team Magma Admin Blaise would aim to go after the Orbs soon at My. Pyre. Not right now anyway, but given a few more days, they'll figure it out.
Leaves me about say… 5 days before Team Magma figures out where to locate them. And at the same time, it would be possible that Ruby would be ambushed by Courtney attempting to attack him…
But then again, because of my interference, it might not happen at all. A BIG what IF here in this situation because Courtney wasn't interested in Ruby due to his actions, or possibly his love for Pokémon Contest.
To me, she remains someone I can't predict. Not when I threw plot out of the window because without Team Aqua halting the Volcano Activities of Mt. Chimney, it wouldn't cause the imbalance of natural energy enough to wake them up.
For now, Team Aqua would have to remain quiet during this time to not draw suspicion while trying to rethink a new strategy. Fortunately for me, I had my Metagross and Gardevoir place psychic markers on them, or they're grunts that were running away at the time when we battled at My. Chimney Summit.
Team Magma, on the other hand, I don't know they're exact location. They seem to be on the move with a ragtag group of people, with them not only that, but they also have different variety of Pokémon when compared to they're game counterparts.
And thanks to me introducing Mega Evolution to the world… it makes me wonder have they've managed to get Mega Evolution for their respective Pokémon? And Zinnia, I must consider this problem as well…
No signs or activities from her. Not since Peatalburg Woods as she tried to get my Key Stone needed for her Rayquaza Dragon Lord, whatever…
Too many enemies to track and defeat. Guess I gotta dismantle them one step at a time to make them squirm.
But for now, my focus should be on Norman, as he would be a tough nut to crack. It'll be an interesting experience, nonetheless.
