Chapter 30 - The war is coming

The Seven Cities of Gold stood silent beneath the burning skies.

All the gods and lords were in deep tension—for the almighty Demon King was marching toward them with his vast army of hell.

The Wise Lord spoke gravely,

> "We must prepare. The war begins in seven days."

Just then, a messenger arrived, kneeling before the throne.

> "My lords," he said breathlessly, "the Demon King commands more than eighty thousand soldiers. His forces are divided into eight divisions of ten thousand each—each led by one of his Great Generals, warriors powerful enough to match or even surpass an entire godly legion of a thousand knights."

The hall fell silent.

Then the messenger added, trembling,

> "We must declare a state of emergency, my lords."

The God of Light rose and said,

> "You're right. We will not delay. Send the word to every city—prepare for battle."

But before they could act, the Wise Lord received a message from Lexus:

> "I have reached the realm of the Seven Star Lords."

The Wise Lord smiled faintly.

> "He is near," he said. "He will arrive soon."

Then he turned to the gods.

> "I must leave. The human warrior who once defeated the Dark Dragon has reached their planet. The other Star Lords are with him.

I will not fight in this war—but I will aid that human and Lexus.

You gods must face your fate. This war was not only born of your pride, but also of mine and the other six lords. It is our shared fault that this chaos has come upon the cosmos. That is why I shall help you this time—so your existence is not erased from creation."

The other six lords stepped forward, their eyes glowing with divine light.

> "We too shall not take part in battle," they said in unison. "We are the Lords of Knowledge, not War. But we shall grant all battle wisdom and fighting knowledge to the human warrior."

The God of Light bowed his head.

> "So be it. I will follow your will, Lords. For the sake of my people—and for peace in the cosmos."

The Wise Lord placed his hand upon the god's shoulder.

> "Eldest son of the youngest king—you are worthy. You have the heart of a protector. The crown shall one day be yours."

Then, in a blaze of divine light, all seven lords vanished, teleporting to their celestial world—the Planet of the Seven Stars—where Lexus, Ken, and his companions waited.

As they arrived, their divine auras lit the sky like seven suns.

> "Ken," the Wise Lord said, his voice echoing across the heavens,

"You are the Boy of Hope—the one destined to save the cosmos from the coming war."

Far away, deep within the Abyss of Despair, the Demon King sat upon his throne of skulls and blood, surrounded by the shadows of his generals. His crimson eyes burned with rage and ambition.

> "The gold of the Seven Cities…" he whispered darkly. "It shall be mine. They know its true worth—the same gold that once was my last hope shall now become the hope of ending this endless cycle of chaos and war."

The flames around him roared higher, as the War for the Seven Cities of Gold began.
