This Friday, Su Wan kept remembering the phone call from Jiang Zhiyan a couple of days ago, inviting her to meet up.
That day was like any other, and at noon, she went with Fu Weiheng to their usual vegetarian restaurant for lunch. While ordering, she received a call from Jiang Zhiyan, asking her to have dinner and meet that evening.
Su Wan glanced at Fu Weiheng across from her, worried that it might be too rushed, and suggested changing the meeting to Saturday evening.
Jiang Zhiyan didn't hesitate and agreed.
Once the call was over, she mentioned the meeting to Fu Weiheng. Though slightly displeased, Fu Weiheng understood the relationship between her and Jiang Zhiyan and what they likely had to discuss, so he reluctantly accepted it.
