From the security checkpoint to the subway, Su Wan walked alongside him, all the while thinking about how to secretly slip the money back into his big coat pocket at a chance.
The two found a seat and hadn't been sitting long before the subway started moving slowly. Soon, the sound of the subway speeding through the air filled their ears.
The old man sat at the edge, holding the handrail, and asked with a smile, "Young lady, which station are you going to?"
Su Wan: "The same station as you."
The old man's eyes lit up with delight, "Well, what a coincidence."
Su Wan couldn't help but glance at the old man's slightly trembling feet on the seat, furrowing her brows ever so slightly, and asked, "Why are you out alone if you're not in good health? Where's your family?"
