Harry Hunter gazed at her rare radiant smile, and his mood brightened along with it.
"It's just a watch. I gifted you a company that's worth far more, and you didn't want it. What's so special about this watch?"
"Nothing special."
Isabella Weaver hugged Harry Hunter's waist, almost excited enough to kiss him.
"This watch was given to me by my dad after my sister didn't want it. It was the first gift I ever received, and I've always cherished it, wearing it for many years. It was always with me, until, to buy for Milo..."
Isabella stopped mid-sentence.
Harry was listening intently and couldn't help but ask, "Why did you stop?"
Isabella blinked, "Can I mention Milo Field?"
"Why not?"
"Didn't you... ask me not to mention my cousin? So I thought ex-boyfriends were even more off-limits."
Harry smiled lightly, "It's best not to mention them, but occasionally, it's okay."
The little girl was considerate of his feelings, worried he'd be uncomfortable, and wouldn't tell her story.
