The beautiful spring noon passed amidst chaos, and no one from the Weaver Family had lunch, each returning to their rooms.
Isabella Weaver stood by the window on her room's balcony, looking at the scenery outside, and a small smile appeared on her face.
Her mother thought of her as the "only one"!
Her mother must have loved her, right?
She extended her hand out the window, and the spring breeze gently brushed her palm. If her mother were still alive, she would probably caress her like this, lovingly.
"Knock, knock, knock!"
There was a knock on the door. Isabella turned around and saw a servant carrying water and a meal walk in.
She bowed respectfully, "Second Miss, I made a little something for you to eat, see if it suits your taste."
Isabella was a bit surprised, "Are you new here?"
"Yes."
"No wonder. You don't have to bring it to me in the future, otherwise if Madam finds out, you'll be kicked out soon."
