Mark looked at Melody Parker's pale face with pity, softly whispering, "Melody, is it you? Have I really found you?"
Recalling what the men in black said about James Sutton drugging Melody into unconsciousness, Mark continued in a deep voice, "Melody, I'm here to rescue you. Don't worry, I will definitely get you out safely."
After saying this, Mark reached out to lift Melody Parker from the bed.
Just as Mark was bending down to lift Melody Parker, who was supposed to be unconscious, she suddenly opened her eyes.
To play along, Melody Parker had been pretending to be unconscious all along.
She heard the sound of someone approaching her after the men in black left, and since she didn't know who it was or what they would do, she continued to feign unconsciousness.
But then she heard Mark's voice, saying to her, "Melody, is it you? Have I really found you?"
