Melody Parker looked toward where Simon's voice came from, her voice clear yet firm, "Even if you don't say it, I will rescue the King."
She turned towards Adrian and said with great momentum, "Adrian will help me rescue him."
Hearing Melody Parker's words, Adrian found it quite pleasing.
His eyes filled with laughter, he spoke coldly, "Hmm, the person Melody wants to save, I will certainly help her rescue."
Melody Parker wanted so much to roll her eyes at Adrian; why did he have to interject now? But alas, her eyes couldn't see, so she couldn't roll them even if she wanted to.
Though inwardly happy about the man's words, on the surface, she acted as if she hadn't heard him, looking calmly towards Simon's direction, continuing to speak, "Your tribe doesn't need to be loyal to me; I'm not your princess. You only need to be loyal to your King."
Simon looked at Tannis with confusion.
