Da Bao carried Nuonuo out of the car and into the house, and the little girl still clung to him tightly, unwilling to let go.
"Nuonuo, can you come down first? Brother needs to wash his face." Da Bao coaxed the little girl in his arms softly.
Nuonuo acted as if she were deaf, burying her head deep in Da Bao's shoulder, showing no intention of letting go.
Le Tong led Little Treasure inside and couldn't help but find the situation amusing.
"Nuonuo, your brother won't leave. Let him wash his face first, okay?"
"No!" Nuonuo still showed no concession.
Da Bao had no choice but to carry her into the washroom. After coaxing her a few more words, she finally let go and quietly sat on the washbasin.
"Nuonuo, can you tell Brother why you don't like going to kindergarten?" Da Bao washed her little hands under the tap.
Nuonuo bit her lip and said nothing. Da Bao wrung out a towel and helped her wash her face. "Are you scared?"
