Summer Sutton lay with her eyes closed, still asleep, unaware if she heard what he said.
Adrian Walyon held her tightly, continuously rubbing her arms to keep her warm.
As time passed by slowly, Adrian's heart remained in suspense as he waited for Summer's condition to improve.
Outside the door, Lorraine Hughes suddenly spoke up.
"Young Master Walyon, is Miss Sutton alright?"
"There's no need for concern," Adrian responded coldly.
Lorraine didn't leave.
She seemed a bit embarrassed, remained silent for a moment, then cautiously asked, "Does Miss Sutton have a baby?"
Adrian's gaze turned rigid toward the door, suddenly growing cold.
There was a quiet moment outside, then Lorraine's voice echoed again, "My mom used to be a doctor. She resigned after marriage, but she still has experience. She was a top student at a famous medical university, studied herbal medicine."
Adrian was momentarily stunned, his cold demeanor still unchanged.
