Summer Sutton suddenly panicked.
She looked around the villa, terrified of seeing Adrian Walyon pull open the door and come out, and kept frantically trying to signal Unity to be quiet.
"Shh, shh, darling, quiet! Quiet!" She made several gestures to Unity, but unfortunately, Unity didn't seem to understand.
"Meow!" With its little head lifted and looking at her, Unity's cry not only didn't stop but instead grew louder, clawing at her relentlessly while meowing.
Summer Sutton felt her heart almost jump to her throat from its cries.
After several failed attempts to stop it, fearing to disturb the person inside, Summer Sutton shoved it into the fence, dared not look at it much, and turned away from the villa.
Behind her, Unity seemed to still be meowing, like an anxious child, its meowing sounding somewhat sad.
Summer Sutton didn't have the heart to look back, lowered her head, and quickened her pace.
