Summer Sutton felt awkward for a while, then casually pulled the sheet over herself and started talking to him about other things.
"How many more days will you be in London?"
Summer Sutton's question was just out of curiosity, asked casually.
But who knew, Adrian Walyon would casually respond, "Want me to come back early?"
Do I?
The answer was definitely no.
After he left, Summer Sutton had classes and part-time jobs, coming home very late every day. Where would she find time to think about anything else?
Summer Sutton didn't answer his question directly, instead quickly changing the subject, "Grandpa mentioned the idea of having a child again today. Do you have any thoughts?"
She was testing his reaction.
What thoughts could Adrian Walyon have?
He didn't have even a bit of thought about it.
When it can be avoided, it should be avoided. If it can't be avoided, deal with it if something unexpected happens.
