Going upstairs, obediently following him back to the room, Adrian Walyon entered and didn't pay any attention to her, heading straight to the bathroom.
Summer Sutton sat on the sofa, anxiously twisting her clothes, nervous about how tonight would pass.
Her nerves were stretched to the breaking point, little did she know Adrian seemed very busy, after coming out, he took several phone calls.
She didn't know who was calling, Adrian kept taking calls and then went to the study.
Summer Sutton waited quietly in the room, waited unknowingly long, until she fell into a drowsy sleep.
When Adrian returned to the room, the petite body of the woman on the bed was curled into a ball, sleeping sweetly.
His gaze fell on her, it was the first time tonight he seriously observed her.
Summer Sutton's features were extremely delicate and small, her face clean without a trace of makeup.
Fresh and pure, like a newly bloomed Endless summer hortensia in the morning, adorned with dew, so refreshing that one couldn't help but want to pick it.
She was somewhat thin, her slender bones could be easily broken, obviously she was very fragile.
With such a small frame, how strong could she be?
And yet she dared to doubt his ability?
Simply ignorant of danger!
Summer Sutton's sleeping posture wasn't very appealing, as she slept, her slender legs spread randomly, taking up most of the two-meter wide bed.
Adrian picked her up and moved her to the inside of the bed, lifted the covers, and lay down next to her.
Summer Sutton did not sleep in a regular manner, as Adrian was just entering a sleep state, unexpectedly, her leg aimed right at him.
His brow slightly furrowed, assuming she merely wanted a place to rest her leg, Adrian indulged her.
But unexpectedly, the next second, Summer Sutton's leg suddenly kicked him hard.
Adrian was sleeping on the edge of the bed, due to Summer Sutton taking up too much space, he was cramped on the bed's edge.
This sudden kick from Summer Sutton left him completely unprepared, rolling straight onto the carpet.
"Summer Sutton!" With a darkened face, he shouting angrily at the woman on the bed, "You don't know what's good for you!"
Summer Sutton woke up suddenly when he yelled.
She shivered, nearly falling off the bed to accompany him.
"What's... what happened?" Dazedly looking around the pitch-black room, Summer Sutton was a bit slow to react to the situation.
Sweeping his body on the floor with moonlight, she realized what had happened, her mind was somewhat muddled.
Adrian stood up clutching the bed's edge, and before she could react, his body, like a fierce beast, pounced on her, pressing her down onto the big bed behind.
With his hands clenching her slender neck, his voice was chilling to the bone, "You have a lot of guts!"
"I was sleeping, wasn't I?" Summer Sutton explained for herself.
"No one dares act so impudently in front of me!" Yet Adrian did not accept her defense, the force of his hands increased.
Summer Sutton was uncomfortable from his grip, her little face pale.
"How was I supposed to know when you'd sleep on the bed?" Grabbing his arm, she tried to protest.
However, all resistance appeared feeble and powerless against him.
Before him, she was like a minor ant, the disparity in power too great.
"My room, my bed, I sleep whenever I want!" Adrian's gaze was cold and harsh.
"You can't treat me like this! Aren't we still supposed to get married?" Summer Sutton reminded him.
Although she didn't know why he wanted to marry her, since he spent time and effort finding her, he shouldn't easily end her, right?
Adrian's grip slowly weakened, seemingly contemplating her words seriously.
