With Jesse's company, An Nan spent two wonderful days.
She, who rarely takes photos, took quite a few this time, and only then did she feel that, after coming to Paris so many times, this was the first time she had truly visited Paris.
After joy comes parting, and An Nan did not inform Jesse when she would leave. In the early morning of the fourth day, An Nan chose to quietly leave Jesse's house with her luggage, simply because she did not like farewells. In this short time together, she had already regarded this big kid Jesse as her younger brother, so she hoped for a day they would meet again and therefore a farewell was unnecessary.
She left a note on the sofa in the living room, roughly meaning that she hoped he would someday come to China, and she would surely be a good host.
What An Nan did not expect was for this day to come so quickly.
Just a short dozen hours later.
