Soo Min-ji arrived at the garden ready to harvest more rice. She had decided to do this low-key so she wouldn't raise questions, and she didn't want to create panic with her answers.
Not yet.
As soon as she had brought out her stored bags from her system, she got to work harvesting rice immediately. She kept filling her bags as fast as she could before it went dark.
After two long boring hours, she was finally done with harvesting as much as she could.
Tired, she collapsed to the ground with a light thud, heaving.
The purple and orange sky stared back at her with loving eyes.
"When would all these be over?" She whispered.
With a small sigh, she closed her eyes. Rex came slipping into her mind, and the corners of her mouth twitched into a smile.
"He's so nice," she whispered, "I wish he was on my side already."
She sat back up, looking at the bags of rice stacked up on each other.
