"Did you come to see me?"
A detached voice, revealing neither joy nor displeasure.
Bai Lanlan seemed very used to Bai Chenyao's tone, or perhaps this had always been their mode of interaction.
"Yes, Brother Chenyao, I'm so happy to see you."
As she spoke, Bai Lanlan slightly pouted, feeling a bit smug yet somewhat resentful.
"But I didn't expect to knock for so long before you opened the door, Brother Chenyao."
After speaking, Bai Lanlan looked at Bai Chenyao with great grievance in her eyes, appearing pitiful, like an abandoned puppy.
Her bright, clear almond eyes blinked as Bai Chenyao continued to simply look at her, without any intention of speaking, prompting Bai Lanlan to shift her gaze.
She glanced around, her attention quickly turning to the kitchen.
"Brother Chenyao, you probably haven't eaten yet, right? I'll make you your favorite scallion egg noodles."
Bai Chenyao, with a cold expression, watched Bai Lanlan about to stand up, his voice deep and chilly.
