In the evening, Edward Stephens personally drove to the company to pick her up.
Daisy Ginger walked out of the office and saw Edward's car parked at the company entrance. Her gloomy mood that had lasted all day suddenly brightened, for reasons she couldn't quite understand.
She pursed her lips, suppressing the upward curve of her mouth, and walked over gracefully. She opened the car door and sat in the passenger seat.
The man's project in Tsing City had ended a month ago, and the main reason he stayed behind was probably because of her.
"Home or dinner?"
"Let's eat first."
She was a bit hungry.
The man nodded and drove to a western restaurant near the company.
While waiting for the food, Daisy said to the man, "Emma Magus came to find me today."
Edward didn't seem surprised, "What did she say?"
"Pretty much what you already told me." Daisy shook her head, "It's just…"
"Just what?"
"She seems a little interested in your brother…" Daisy glanced at Edward.
