After Daisy Ginger drank the wine handed over by the producer, her complexion changed.
Elena Raven was still agreeing with the director and investors present when her foot was gently kicked by Daisy Ginger. She glanced at her and immediately reacted, standing up to say to the director, "Director Carter, my manager seems to be feeling unwell. Let's skip this round of drinks."
Everyone in the room simultaneously turned their gaze to the woman sitting next to Elena Raven.
Her slender, fair wrist was supporting her forehead, and her thick, long hair fell, covering half of her elegantly featured face. Through the strands of hair, her cheeks appeared redder than usual, and her lips were moist.
Perhaps she was really feeling unwell; her breathing was slightly rapid, her dark eyes had a faint sparkle.
As beautiful as peach and plum, as colorful as spring flowers.
Director Carter pondered for a moment, "Hmm..."
