When Nicole was brought back to Clearflower Estate by Camden, it was already past six in the afternoon. Jose Floyd was sitting on the sofa having a video meeting.
Camden walked up and said respectfully, "Young Master, Miss Seys has been invited."
Jose Floyd spoke a few words in French to the people on the other side of the video before ending the call. He slowly raised his head and his gaze turned to the person he hadn't seen for quite a while.
The once gentle brows and eyes had become cold, with an indifferent face, standing in front of him without giving him a glance, as if he was treated as air! Jose Floyd's brows suddenly tinted with frost.
Nicole sensed his change. Given her understanding of him, it was best to go along with him at this moment, or else she'd only suffer herself. Thinking of this, Nicole pursed her lips and spoke in a淡淡的道声, "Where is Ariel? I'm here to take care of her."
