Ariel Morris sighed softly. The mesmerizing beauty of God Seys, she guessed she would be dazzled by it all her life. Clearly, she wasn't the kind of person who went crazy over someone, so why was she head over heels for God Seys and unable to extricate herself?
Arlo Seys was bowing his head, seriously handling documents when a scorching gaze fell upon him. Feeling that intensity, he lifted his eyes and looked over, just in time to meet Ariel Morris's smile-filled gaze directly upon him.
Their eyes met, silent and speechless, a subtle emotion spread between them.
After a while, Ariel Morris snapped back to reality, her face slightly awkward, she gave a light cough, withdrew her gaze, and walked towards Arlo Seys, sitting down beside him, "What are you looking at?"
Arlo Seys also withdrew his gaze that had been on her, turned his head towards the computer, and replied nonchalantly, "Documents."
Ariel Morris gave an "oh" and as soon as she sat down, got up intending to go upstairs.
