Arlo Seys' face was flushed, his voice breathless: "I ran here," he glanced at his watch, "forty-two minutes, a bit late."
Ariel Morris stared at him in shock, then suddenly let out a laugh, stood up and hugged Arlo Seys, wrapping her arms around his neck, "Fool---such a fool, Arlo Seys is the silliest person!"
She had already told him not to come for no reason, yet he ran for more than forty minutes to see her. What a fool, Ariel Morris was both moved and happy inside.
Arlo Seys responded softly, "But I'm only silly for Ariel Morris."
Ariel Morris nodded, her voice filled with happiness and a little sweetness: "Arlo Seys can only be silly for Ariel Morris. If you dare to be this silly for any other girl, I'll bite you to death!"
"That will never happen." Though she was teasing without thinking, Arlo Seys' voice was serious.
A cool sensation came from his neck, and Arlo Seys frowned slightly, "Why are your hands so cold?"
