As soon as Nico Haynes spoke, even the melancholic Arlo Seys turned his gaze towards Dawn Sutherland.
Dawn remained silent.
Nico sneered, "The Sutherland Family's mess, it's really enough. You're pouring your heart into managing the Sutherland Clan, but in the end, isn't it all going to be someone else's dowry? Isn't your half-brother coming back? Once he returns, nothing will be yours! Why put in so much effort? Might as well start your own business sooner rather than later!"
Dawn replied, "After all, I still bear the Sutherland name, I can't ignore the Sutherland Clan."
Nico gave him a sideways glance, "You're such a martyr! If I were you, I'd tell the Sutherland Family to buzz off! When have you ever been valued since you were a kid?!"
Dawn didn't respond.
Arlo Seys pursed his lips, "Dawn, let me know when you plan on developing on your own."
He would definitely support him wholeheartedly.
Dawn gave a gentle smile, "Thanks, Arlo."
