On the other end of the call, Christopher Scott had just entered the office when the phone rang.
He nonchalantly took the phone out of his pocket, and upon seeing the name Sophia Bennett, his expression darkened. He thought to himself, this woman is really persistent.
What surprised him was that she usually waited until Saturday evening to call him, but today was only Friday morning, and yet she was calling.
Christopher stared at the phone for a moment but eventually answered the call.
Once connected, Sophia calmly said, "Christopher, are you free tonight? I want to invite you to dinner."
Sophia's voice was pleasant, and when calm, it had an adorable quality. Her speaking pace was not fast, making her seem like a cute, naive girl. Despite this, Christopher found her voice irritating.
Therefore, he impatiently replied, "I'm not free."
