Christopher Scott just wanted to say something, and Seven Murray heard it; he wanted to start over.
Seven Murray didn't understand why Christopher Scott's attitude suddenly changed. Was it because she no longer pestered him, begged him to sign the contract, made him feel frustrated, and hurt his pride, that he changed his attitude toward her?
Sure enough, what one cannot obtain is always restless; Seven found it quite amusing.
However, she was no longer the old Seven Murray. She wouldn't be Christopher Scott's little follower anymore, at his beck and call.
In the driver's seat, Christopher Scott looked at the carefree Seven Murray and was speechless. He couldn't say what he wanted to say.
Seven Murray looked at the sorrow in Christopher Scott's eyes, smiled at him, then pried open the big hand he had placed on hers, opened the car door, and got out without looking back.
