Sophie Smith tossed and turned, unable to sleep.
After some thought, she took out her phone and secretly made a call to Luke Land.
"Hello..." On the other end, Luke Land's voice was full of drowsiness.
"Second Brother, it's Sophie. Sorry to disturb you." Sophie's voice had a hint of apology.
"Oh, it's fine..." Luke Land responded groggily, "Sophie, it's so late. What's up?"
Sophie wanted to ask about Asher Land, but she was afraid others might misunderstand and think she was just keeping tabs on him.
After hesitating for a while, she tentatively started to inquire.
"Well, tonight... didn't Asher come over to see Irene? Is he still with you?"
"Oh Sophie, you haven't even married the third brother or held the wedding, and you're already keeping such close tabs on him. Indeed, marriage is akin to restricting personal freedom." Luke teased.
"Second Brother, don't misunderstand. I'm just really worried about him."
