When Eva Miller returned to the Davis Family home, Sophie Smith was holding her phone and making calls nonstop.
"Eva, you're finally back." It was already very late, and Sophie had waited a long time for Eva Miller to return. She had no idea where she went, so she blindly kept calling her. Who knew that after calling for so long, Eva wouldn't answer and eventually switched off her phone altogether.
"Why didn't you answer my calls? Where's your phone?"
"Don't even mention it." Eva's face was troubled too. "My phone got smashed by Luke Land."
"Luke Land?" Sophie was a bit surprised. "Why are you involved with him again?"
"I don't want to be." Eva pouted. "Who knows why that man won't leave me alone? Just thinking about it makes me angry!"
"Oh, right!" Eva seemed to remember something. "Sophie, can you talk to President Land and tell him to ask his brother not to bother me anymore!"
"You want me to talk to Asher Land?" Sophie was half-skeptical. "Will that work?"
