Eva Miller looked at Sophie Smith, who was wholeheartedly trying to calm the child, and couldn't help but pout.
"Sophie, you can't hang out with me today, can you?"
"Huh?" Sophie felt a bit troubled. She looked at the child in her arms who was still crying, remembering that she had promised Eva yesterday that she would go out with her today.
"Well, why don't you wait a bit? I'll put the child to sleep, then have Amanda watch over him, and I'll go play with you, okay?"
"Better forget it." Although Eva felt a bit disappointed, she didn't want to take away Sophie's time with the child. "You take good care of Alexander. I'll go out on my own to wander around, and I won't be back for dinner tonight. You and Mr. Davis don't have to wait for me."
"Isn't this bad..." Sophie felt a bit guilty.
"No, it's not bad at all. It's nice to go out alone. I hadn't had the chance when work was busy," Eva said with a smile. "I'm off now."
Saying this, Eva blew Sophie a playful kiss.
