Sophie Smith nestled in Asher Land's arms, both silent, each harboring their own thoughts.
The door suddenly opened, and Luke Land appeared before them with a nonchalant demeanor.
He leaned against the door, looking at Asher Land and Sophie Smith on the bed, and couldn't help but click his tongue in admiration.
"Skipping meals just to rush back and get down to business?"
Sophie couldn't help but blush, hurriedly pushing Asher Land away and getting off the bed, not wanting Luke Land to misunderstand.
"Didn't you know to knock before coming in?" Asher Land spoke coldly.
"I thought you two were up to something passionate in the room and wanted a feast for my eyes—how could I give you a warning by knocking?"
Oscar Land entered Asher Land's room a bit later, not greeting Asher Land first but politely smiling and nodding at Sophie.
Sophie also returned an awkward smile.
"You can go out first," Oscar Land said to the maid pushing his wheelchair.
