"I still don't think I should go, I..."
Sophie Smith wanted to say more, but was cut off by a look from Asher Land.
"So you won't want a man once you have a child, is that it?" He smirked, casting a sidelong glance at her.
"Why are you getting jealous of the baby again?" Sophie pouted angrily. She felt like she had two children now, having to coax the little one and the big one too.
"Just accompany me for a week." His tone left no room for negotiation, as if he was merely informing her of the outcome.
After saying that, he took out his phone and called his secretary.
"Book me two tickets to Bali Island, for tonight," he instructed his secretary swiftly and succinctly, then hung up the call.
Sophie's expression was filled with frustration.
"Asher Land, could you please respect other people's opinions..."
"I asked you already."
"But I said I wouldn't go."
"I want to go."
"So?"
"Your opinion is noted."
"..."
Overbearing man!
