Nathan Land's gaze did not linger on her, he simply turned his head toward Luke Land.
"How much longer until Asher returns to headquarters?"
"If he heads over straight from the United States after receiving the news, it will take at least ten hours. If there are no incidents, he should be back by tomorrow morning," Luke Land said truthfully.
"Let everything wait until Asher returns," Nathan Land said as he walked out of the hall.
Leaving everyone in the hall exchanging puzzled glances.

Luke Land stared at Sophie Smith repeatedly, wondering what kind of luck she had?
Irene Morton stood there, also with an unconvinced expression.
"Let's go, why are you still standing there? I'll take you to rest." Luke Land came over, grabbed her hand, and was ready to walk outside, but Sophie Smith resisted silently.
Luke Land saw her resistance, and couldn't help but frown.
