"Stop talking." Asher Land seemed to have little patience for Nanny Garcia's words. He casually picked up a piece of toast from the table, dipped it into some ketchup with a spoon, and handed it to Sophie Smith.

His gesture was natural; indeed, he often did things like this.

But this unintentional action looked deliberate in Irene Morton's eyes. He was indifferent to her last night, yet here he was early in the morning 'showing affection' with Sophie Smith, clearly warning her not to harbor any inappropriate thoughts about him.

"Nanny Garcia, you don't need to speak for me anymore. No matter what you say, Brother Asher will not listen." Irene snorted coldly and tossed the fork in her hand onto the dining table, producing a crisp sound.
