"That's it for today." He pulled back his chair and left the meeting room under everyone's astonished gaze.
Damn it, this woman is quite skilled at tit-for-tat; he didn't just miss one call from her? Now, he's calling ten times and she's not answering any?

Sophie Smith walked out of the bathroom, her hair not yet fully dry, and picked up a towel to wipe her damp long hair.
She caught a glimpse of her phone on the bed with the corner of her eye and noticed the screen was lit up.
Curious, she walked over and picked up the phone.
The phone showed fifteen missed calls and twelve unread messages.
