Edmond continued, "Lu Lu, can I invite you to my house tomorrow? My grandmother is from Hua Country, and she also wants to meet you."
"Sure!" This wasn't the first time Edmond had invited her, so Lu Xingzhi couldn't refuse again.
"Great, I'll tell her once I get back. She'll be very happy." Edmond smiled slightly.
Before they left, a woman walked over.
"Hi, Edmond, what a coincidence!"
Edmond frowned slightly but still spoke gently, "Indeed, a coincidence."
"It's really heartbreaking, Edmond. Why don't you ever say my name? I asked you out for dinner, and you said you were too busy. So, are you cheating on me by dating this yellow-skinned woman?" Camille looked disapprovingly at Lu Xingzhi, thinking this woman couldn't possibly compare to her.
Lu Xingzhi pretended not to understand. The woman's words were unpleasant, and she couldn't be bothered to pay attention.
After all, her relationship with Edmond was just friendship.
This was a problem he brought upon himself.
