After suffering a humiliating defeat against his brother, Caspian had become a laughing stock among the circle of nobility.
Quoting Chuck, some of them even called him "peasant" behind his back. Some of the mocking didn't slip past his notice, further infuriating the young man.
"Damn it!" Caspian clenched his fist so hard as he looked for a place to avoid the judgmental looks of the people around him.
At first, he thought of going to the Lionheart Society club room.
But he decided to toss this idea aside, for even his own club members looked at him with contempt a few days after the sparring match ended.
"I wish you had never been born!" Caspian muttered angrily as he walked the empty hallway of the academy. "How dare the child of a mere commoner call me a peasant?! That filthy half-blood, a shame in our noble lineage!"
The more he thought about Chuck, the angrier he became.
