The torrential rain continued to pour.
The entire capital of the Diamond Kingdom was shrouded in a heavy, oppressive atmosphere.
The surviving civilians who had endured the divine punishment now stood in the streets, gazing up in fear at the thunderous and flashing sky.
[Water Creation Magic – Sea Dragon's Roar]!
Magic surged as a massive water dragon emerged from thin air.
Its form was vivid, its movements violent, exuding a terrifying pressure that made even the bravest tremble.
Yet even after casting such a powerful spell, Ethan did not stop.
Around him, over two hundred grimoires floated midair, each glowing with arcane light.
Fire magic…
Steel magic…
Sand magic…
One after another, spells rained down like an unending storm, as if magic cost nothing at all.
The Diamond Kingdom's mages were in absolute despair.
Now they truly understood the meaning of "monstrous."
Just one man possessed hundreds of grimoires — an unheard-of phenomenon.
And worse, every single type of magic he used was devastatingly powerful.
He didn't seem to have a single weakness — every attribute he wielded was at full mastery!
"What's wrong, Holy Archmage Corin? Are you still not going to act? Your lapdogs are about to die out!"
Drifting in the sky, Ethan's voice thundered louder than the storm itself.
A few hundred mages were nothing. They didn't qualify to hunt him.
Back during the battle at the Fifth Domain, he had already proven himself capable of fending off a hundred attackers.
And now, having reached the Third Domain, his strength far surpassed what it had been then.
Moreover, the Diamond Kingdom's elite forces were all stationed at the frontlines.
Those remaining in the capital were of much lower rank.
Even someone like Licht couldn't keep up with his speed — let alone these small fries.
"You arrogant brat!"
With a shout of rage, Corin turned into a streak of starlight and joined the fray.
It wasn't that he had wanted to remain a spectator — but Ethan's arrival had been too shocking.
First came a world-ending magic that leveled half the capital.
Then he revealed the impossible sight of hundreds of floating grimoires.
It was so bizarre that Corin had no choice but to be cautious.
Now, however, he had gauged Ethan's power more clearly.
While strong, the boy was still only at the Third Domain.
Even with some tricks, he couldn't possibly defeat someone like him — a Holy Archmage who had reached the Zero Domain!
[Star Magic – Power of the Stars]!
Starlight shimmered around his body as Corin shot through the air like a meteor, instantly catching up to Ethan.
His speed was even greater than that of the Wizard King.
"Star Magic, huh?" Ethan muttered, eyebrows furrowing.
No wonder Corin could rival Julius and claim half the magical world.
Star Magic was indeed a rare and formidable attribute.
[Spirit Magic – Spirit, Descend]!
Now that his opponent had joined the battlefield, Ethan no longer held back.
Merging with his wind spirit Zephyra, his strength surged once more.
He became one with the wind, vanishing like a breeze.

[Time Magic – Time Sustain]!
Back in the military camp, Julius dashed among the chaotic crowds.
This forbidden reincarnation spell was beyond anything he'd anticipated — both in power and cruelty.
No matter what their previous strength had been, all those reincarnated were now vastly stronger.
Some who had only reached the Eighth or Seventh Domain before were now punching into the Fifth or even Fourth Domain.
But that wasn't the most terrifying part.
The worst was that those who had been reincarnated were once friends, allies, comrades — even spouses.
How could anyone bring themselves to attack someone they once loved or trusted?
This Elf Reincarnation magic was utterly insidious.
Binding several affected knights, Julius spoke grimly to the trembling mages beside him:
"Secure them. I'll take care of the rest…"
He didn't want to. He truly didn't.
But as the Wizard King, he had no choice.
"Yami, Nozel — I'm leaving this place to you. I'm heading back to the capital!"
Though the uprising had come suddenly, fortunately, only two of the nine squad captains had been possessed.
The other seven remained unaffected.
Losses had been heavy, but it was only a matter of time before they could regain control.
However, compared to the battlefield here, the Clover Kingdom's capital was now completely defenseless.
Just like the Diamond Kingdom, both sides had deployed their elites to the frontlines.
Though there were troops left behind to guard the capital, under this widespread Elf Reincarnation, at least half had turned against their own.
Fwoosh!
Shooting across the sky, Julius raced toward the capital.
---
Meanwhile, chaos reigned in the Clover Kingdom's capital.
Citizens didn't understand why the same magic knights who had once protected them were now slashing at them with swords and spells.
It was like they had become strangers — like their very souls had changed.
They attacked without hesitation, completely devoid of emotion.
"Patolli, we did it! Now we just need to reach the palace's basement and activate the Shadow Palace — our people can be fully revived!"
"Yes. We've waited so long for this moment…"
A twisted smile crept onto Patolli's face as he looked toward the distant palace.
A flash of black energy passed through his eyes.
The Clover Kingdom was still engaged in battle with the Diamond Kingdom.
Coupled with the surprise of the elf reincarnation, they had been caught completely off guard.
There was no way they could mount a response in time.
The road had been difficult, but finally — he had reached his goal.
Boom!
Boom!
Whether at the frontlines or in the capital, the fighting had reached a fever pitch.
And their enemies weren't the Diamond Kingdom — they were their former friends and comrades.
"...Letor, what are you doing? Don't you remember me?"
"Karina, are you betraying your country?"
"Rill, are you insane?! You're killing civilians!"
The entire capital echoed with cries of confusion and betrayal.
Of the 300 magic knights left to guard the capital — handpicked from all nine squads — almost half had lost their minds and turned on their own.
They rampaged through the city, slaughtering and burning like demons unleashed.
The rest tried to fight back — but they were completely outmatched by their powered-up, elf-possessed friends.
Screams and blood painted the city red.
---
[Time Binding Magic – Time Sustain]!
Arriving in the capital, Julius acted swiftly to bring the chaos under control.
He couldn't bear to kill those who had once been his people.
But restraining them — that, he could do.
Moving like a guardian spirit through the alleys and streets, Julius wielded his unparalleled time magic to suppress the possessed one by one.
"It's the Wizard King!"
"We're saved! The Wizard King is here!"
"Long live the Wizard King!"
Relief flooded the faces of many civilians.
At least not everyone had lost their minds.
Their protector — the Wizard King — was still on their side.
"Hurry. Take the captives to a secure location. There might still be a way to undo this forbidden magic…"
---
Half an hour later, the capital had finally quieted down — temporarily.
Over two hundred restrained individuals had been gathered together, and Julius gave orders to the remaining knights to watch them carefully.
But just then, in the sky above, a massive boulder floated steadily toward the royal palace.
Standing upon it were several all-too-familiar figures.
Julius frowned deeply.
"Patolli… As the Wizard King, I will not let you do this any longer!"
