(3rd)
After their session ended, Cain and Uta took a long, hot bath together to catch up on the past four years.
"You've been quite busy, huh?" Uta questioned rhetorically, her tone laced with bitterness and a hint of jealousy upon learning that Cain had been in relationships with several women, one of whom was even pregnant.
To say she was pissed would be an understatement. However, she knew Cain was an unapologetic womanizer, and so she wasn't too upset. It was simply in his nature. That didn't mean she had to like it, though.
Cain sighed, wrapping his arms around her and pressing his body against hers.
"Uta."
"What?" she snapped.
He kissed the top of her head and rested his chin on it. "You know I love you, right?"
"...yeah, I know."
She knew it was the absolute truth. Even if Cain wanted to lie, he couldn't; she would know. The only way he could somewhat bypass her intuition was by telling half-truths or oversimplifying things, but even that was iffy.
Uta had learned to recognize when he was withholding information or trying to downplay something, and she wasn't shy about calling him out on it, demanding the real answers. He often refused, straining their relationship.
Cain knew it was wrong and fucked up to keep things from her, and he felt horrible about it. He didn't want to hide things from Uta, but just like with the others, he didn't want her to get caught up in his mess.
However, he also realized that the longer he kept secrets, the greater the risk of losing her altogether. So, reluctantly, he decided to tell Uta everything.
As expected, she was incredibly pissed that he had withheld such important information and even tried to kick his ass.
But after Cain apologized, the two, not so long after, had rough, mind-blowing makeup sex (which was also the day Lanius was conceived).
"Then you have nothing to worry about. You and Lanius will always be my top priority."
Uta sighed. "Yeah, I know..."
After discussing that heavy topic, they switched to lighter ones, enjoying the warmth of the bath and the feeling of their bodies pressed together. However, their conversation inevitably turned back to their son and Cain's family.
Cain informed her of the current situation with his family, and Uta visibly grimaced. They both wished to avoid the subject, but it was relevant to them and their son, Lanius.
"So, are you one hundred percent sure Lanius is ready?" Cain asked, concern evident in his tone.
Whether Cain wanted Lanius to get involved was irrelevant; his son, like him and his mother, was stubborn, especially when it came to him.
When Lanius learned of the situation, he wanted to help. Cain immediately rejected the idea, but his son persisted, bugging him for months.
Eventually, Cain grew fed up and reluctantly allowed Lanius to assist him under one condition: he had to become as strong as both Cain and Uta. It was a simple requirement but difficult to achieve, as strength comes from more than just training.
If that were the case, their extradimensional neighbors would've stopped being a problem long ago.
To reach the top, one needs god-tier genetics, dedication, consistency, unwavering discipline, a nutritious diet, and an always-improving mindset.
Less than ten percent of the population has these traits, especially the latter.
Uta smiled proudly at his question. "Why do you think we came to Japan looking for you? You didn't honestly think I'd bring him along if I weren't sure he could defend himself, did you?"
"So he's pretty strong, then?"
Uta scoffed.
"He's more than pretty strong. He's our level of strong." Her tone brimmed with motherly pride. "Hell, I'm willing to bet he'll outclass us in just a few years."
Cain's eyes widened. "Is that so?" A grin spread across his lips. "I guess I'll find out for myself when he returns."
Uta rolled her eyes, amused by his eagerness.
"You're such a battle junkie, you know that?"
"Guilty as charged."
Uta chuckled, but then her expression turned serious. "Are you sure we can trust him?" she asked, referring to Rogue.
Understandably, Uta was skeptical when Cain told her his brother had turned against Eden and sided with him. However, she trusted that he knew what he was doing.
That didn't mean she wouldn't be wary of Rogue. If he showed even the slightest signs of betrayal, Uta would destroy him at the subatomic level.
"Yeah, we can trust him, at least for now." Cain's expression darkened slightly. "But if he betrays us, don't worry; I'll end him myself."

- An Hour Later -
"Are you sure you want to meet them?" Cain asked, referring to Kyoka and the others.
"Yeah, I might as well," Uta sighed. "They'll end up as my sister-wives one way or another." Her eyes sharpened as she looked at Cain. "I still can't believe you seduced a group of twenty-year-olds. Do you have no shame? Never mind, don't answer that. Of course, you don't."
Cain was an unapologetic level-one-thousand master prestige pervert and sex fiend, unmatched in his pursuits. Why the fuck would someone like him care about any societal norms?
"Hey, if they're legal, what's the harm?" He shrugged uncaringly.
Uta shook her head in amused exasperation. "You're unbelievable, you know that?"
"Thanks, I try."
Cain took out his phone and texted Tenka, asking her to teleport to him with Honami, as he had something important to discuss.
"Who are you texting?"
"Tenka and Honami. They're still in the dark about everything, and I want to fix that before meeting the others. Speaking of which, you should really bring Lanius back."
A few moments later, Lanius appeared in the room.
"Ah, Jesus fuck!" Lanius exclaimed, startled, then turned to glare at his mother. "Oi! It wouldn't hurt to warn me when you do that! Next time you two get freaky, hold back a little, would you?! The whole damn city felt it!"
Cain and Uta were momentarily confused by Lanius's outburst, but after a few seconds, it clicked, and they both burst out laughing, much to Lanius's annoyance.
"Oh, that's fucking hilarious!" they exclaimed in unison.
Lanius's right eye twitched in irritation. "This isn't funny."
The two ignored him and continued to laugh, reveling in the moment. A few minutes later, they finally calmed down, wiping away tears from their eyes.
Suddenly, a portal appeared in the room, and Tenka and Honami stepped through. Uta's eyes immediately narrowed on Tenka, sensing she was the more dangerous of the two, and she wasn't just talking about her power level.
Upon seeing the Latino, the two smiled, but when they noticed Uta, who was well-known worldwide, and a man who bore a striking resemblance to Cain, their expressions shifted to confusion.
"Uh, Cain, do you mind cluing me in on what's happening?" Tenka asked.
"You're going to want to sit down for this."

Upon sharing everything, Tenka and Honami had very different reactions. Honami was absolutely shocked to learn that Cain had a relationship with one of her favorite music artists, who also happened to be one of the most powerful women in the world. But what really took her by surprise was the fact that he also had a child with her.
Tenka, on the other hand, was similarly in disbelief, but she was also feeling pretty pissed off. Initially, she had her heart set on being the first woman to bear his child, but then Zero swooped in and claimed that position, leaving her absolutely infuriated.
Determined not to give up, she then planned to be the second woman to have Cain's child. Unfortunately, that dream got crushed when she discovered Lanius's identity, and the blonde swore that if someone else snatched the third spot, she'd lose her shit.
The only silver lining is that at least Zero wasn't the first one to have his kid.
As for Cain's age, Tenka couldn't care less that he was forty. In her eyes, he was the complete package—a total DILF. Why would she ever settle for a lesser man when someone like him was right there?
"You know I'm this close to quitting the ADC just so you can knock me up," Tenka stated bluntly, which caused Honami to blush bright red, Cain to chuckle, Uta to narrow her eyes, and Lanius to gag.
"TMI, lady," Lanius said, pinching the bridge of his nose in exasperation.
"Don't worry, besides Zero, I'm not knocking up anyone else for now," Cain reassured the blonde, trying to ease the tension.
"Eh, I don't know about that. You busted a massive load in me earlier," Uta commented casually, causing Cain to sigh deeply, Tenka to nearly crash out, Honami to blush even deeper, and Lanius to groan.
"Babe, you're not helping."
"Wasn't trying to."
Cain sighed. "With that out of the way, let's go introduce you to the others." He turned to Uta and Tenka, his eyes narrowed. "And you two play nice, alright?"
End.
