Chapter 137 - Thank you for reading (and a little more).

If you're reading this, then…

THANK YOU SO, SO MUCH FOR READING THIS FAR!!!

Yesterday, the final chapter of my first fanfic, "Spoiler Artist in Marvel" was officially published, and I have a lot of things to say.

First of all, let's talk about the ending.

The ending was not abrupt or rushed at all. I've said many times that, at the beginning, I planned to write only around 60 or 70 chapters, so in reality the ending kept getting delayed quite a bit. Even so, it is exactly the ending I had planned from the very start.

I wrote this story because I wanted to see a reincarnated character use their knowledge to help others, instead of just getting stronger for no reason. The goal was always that, by the end, Earth would basically become a fortress, and that happened exactly as I had envisioned from the beginning.

I also know that the final chapter is somewhat strange. The truth is that I wasn't entirely sure how to end the series. I could have shown the changes to Earth thanks to the protagonist, but that was already clearly shown in the final arc against Thanos, so I chose a rather cliché ending instead: the protagonist saying that he loves his family. Still, I want you to know that, despite everything he does, the protagonist never stops thinking about himself and enjoys his life. This wasn't shown as much because the plot usually focused on others, especially in the later arcs.

I also know that the pacing of the series almost completely changed halfway through. This was entirely due to my inexperience. As I said, I wanted a reincarnated character who used his knowledge to help others, and that's what I wrote, without thinking too much about future development beyond the ending. Obviously, halfway through the story I realized that it wasn't that simple, and that ended up causing several major changes.

While there were comments saying that the series changed and that they didn't like the protagonist acting like a hero, I ignored those, because that was how I conceived him from the start. However, I did take seriously those who complained that the story went from something more relaxed to something more serious and dramatic. Even so, despite seeing those comments, I decided to continue the story in that direction, because it was the path I wanted to take no matter what.

Random fact: At first, I wanted to name Lía Iris because of her powers, but I'm a fan of The Flash and it brought back bad memories, so I didn't do it.

Finally, with nothing more to say, thank you very much to everyone: to those who read from the beginning, to those who left halfway through, to those who only read a little, to those who read everything, to those who skipped most of it, to those who are reading this years later, and above all, to those who are still here.
