INT. MAJESTIC HIDDEN CAVE - DAY
Master Yang stands before Po in the vast, glowing cavern.
MASTER YANG: "The Mystical Secrets are not a short list of moves to be memorized, Spiritual Leader. There are thousands of them, more than one could learn in a dozen lifetimes. They are branches of the same tree."
PO: "Whoa, thousands?! By the time I learn all of those, I'll be all old and wrinkly, with a long white beard... no offense, Master Yang."
MASTER YANG: (A rare, small smile) "You will not learn all of them. I will teach you the main branches-the core principles of manipulating the energy of the universe. Once you understand them, the rest will be open to you."
An epic, driving, and mystical training montage begins.
MOVEMENT: Po learns to create a solid path of water to cross a raging river. He stomps, and a staircase of floating stones rises from the floor. He learns to generate gusts of wind with a wave of his hand.
PERCEPTION: Yang plunges the cave into darkness. Po's eyes open, glowing softly, allowing him to see in the dark. He then leaps and balances perfectly on the tip of a single, tiny stalactite.
POWER: Po demonstrates super strength, shattering a house-sized boulder with a single punch. He unleashes concussive shockwaves from his hand that pulverize a wall of targets. He strikes a single chime with the Echoing Fist, and a moment later, a massive stalactite at the far end of the cave cracks and falls.
KUNG FU: He performs a series of impossible kung fu moves, including gravity-defying spins and mid-air kicks that change direction, a testament to his new mastery over his own body and chi.
ENERGY MANIPULATION: Master Yang launches training projectiles. Po holds out his hand, and a wave of golden chi erupts, freezing the objects in mid-air.
The montage culminates in the final test. Instead of gorillas, the cavern floor begins to glow, and from the swirling energy rise one hundred ancient, animated suits of armor, each wielding a different mystical weapon crackling with power. Their eyes burn with an ethereal blue flame.
Po grins. "Okay, new toys!"
He becomes a blur of mystical power. He uses the floating stones for incredible aerial attacks, freezing the armors with blasts of chi, then shattering them with super-powered strikes. He moves with impossible speed, the Flicker Step leaving trails of golden light. He unleashes shockwaves that send the armors tumbling. The battle is a dazzling display of Po's newfound abilities.
In seconds, all one hundred animated armors are still, their ethereal flames extinguished. Po stands calmly amidst the deactivated suits. Master Yang approaches, awestruck.
MASTER YANG: "You have mastered the core principles. The secrets are now open to you."
They share a deep, respectful Kung Fu Bow.
PO: "My fists have fists! I feel like I could punch a mountain into next week! But... it's weird, right? It feels like I learned all these awesome secret techniques, but I'm still missing the main one that the universe keeps telling me about. That Phoenix thing."
MASTER YANG: "What I have taught you is the kung fu of my father. It will give you the strength to face Xian. But the Phoenix... that is a meal you must learn to cook on your own."
He places a reassuring hand on Po's shoulder.
MASTER YANG: "It is time to return to the Valley of Peace."
