Both opponents stared at each other, taking in the condition the other was in.
Dante had 40% of his body burned, along with bruises and several wounds caused by the beams of light and lightsabers, along with both physical and mental fatigue.
Kizari had a little blood coming from the corners of his mouth, fractured ribs in his chest area, and a cut on his abdomen that nearly cut him in half.
Dante: 'It's decided; I have to defeat him with the next blow I land, or else he'll most likely defeat me and imprison me; if not in Impel Down, then I'll be locked up in Mary Geoise.' This last thought was due to the appearance of CP0 in the city.
Kizaru: 'Yasakani no Magatama,' he said, firing multiple beams of light at Dante.
Dante had no choice but to cut them all down; With the greatest speed he could, he managed to destroy all the attacks aimed at him.
When he finished, he leaped high into the air, dodging a lightning-fast kick from Kizaru. Kizaru responded by pointing a finger at him and launching a piercing laser beam, which Dante had to defend against with one of his swords.
As he slashed at the attack, the light split into three slashes, two of which grazed Dante's arm and the side of his abdomen.
He also sent it a little higher, enough to reach a considerable height.
He quickly turned around only to see Kizaru forming above him with his lightsaber ready to pierce him, but he didn't advance.
Kizaru: "Ama no Murakumo: 8-Kai no kōgeki"
The tip of Kizaru's sword split into eight spears of light straight at Dante.
Dante could only use his sword to block the slower attacks, allowing five of the eight attacks to pass through his body. Penetrating his arm, shoulder, leg, lung, and intestines, sparing his neck, pancreas, and stomach.
Dante could only be thankful that it didn't attack his heart.
With that, he fell to the ground, making an ugly sound upon impact. He quickly stood up, realizing he no longer saw Kizaru.
He calmed himself and focused on what was coming, only to see the next attack and respond.
Dante opened his eyes and hunched his back backward, dodging Kizaru's lightning-fast kick. But he wasn't going to let it end there without repercussions.
Perhaps as fast as the speed of light, Dante caught the outstretched foot that Kizaru tried to strike Dante in the face with.
Dante, using Haki, grabbed him tightly and, moving his body, caused Kizaru's body to curve from side to side, landing face-first on the ground. He used more force in his hand, enough to hear Kizaru's ankle bones crack, and then sent him flying away so he could breathe again.
Kizaru tumbled to the ground, rolling and colliding with a tree, only to stand up and limp slightly on his foot.
Dante: 'Now that'll make it harder for him to make those legs at the speed of light,' he thought, seeing how Kizaru supported all his weight on the foot he didn't touch.
He had both swords ready; Dante launched himself at Kizaru. Kizaru launched several laser beams, which Dante managed to deflect. Just as he was ready to slash, his opponent turned into light and fled. But this time, Dante spread his wings and pursued them.
The chase was seen all over the island; The light show was visible to everyone in the city, but only half of them were paying attention.
The other half was more concerned about not getting hurt by the attacks of the five people fighting.
Balesca was skilled, but fighting five people at the top of the vice admiral ranks or higher was tricky. She no longer had her eye mask; it had been destroyed in one of her attacks. In addition, she had several wounds caused by her opponents' rokushiki. The only positive thing was that she managed to defeat two of the four CP0 fighters, but she had a serious wound that, if left undetected, could be fatal.
Out of nowhere, Balesca made a swift somersault from his position, followed by one of the CP0s. The one who didn't move received an energy blast from a sword that failed to kill him but knocked him out instantly.
Both Balesca and the CP0 man looked up to see Kizaru and Dante colliding with each other in midair. Their attacks rained down on the city, causing even more chaos and destruction than there already was.
Kizaru materialized above one of the factory domes, only to see a spinning sword travel to his position, causing him to leap to the other dome nearby, watching as everything the Haki-coated sword touched was destroyed instantly.
A little further from Kizaru, Dante landed with a single sword in his hand; his sword sheath had fallen off at some point during the fight, leaving him with only one sword at the time.
Kizaru wasted no time with his next attack.
Kizaru: "Toksuki no tsurugi no ame," he said, causing several swords of light to appear behind his back and launching them at Dante.
(Note: Gate of Babylon Style)
Dante lunged at him, but as he began to approach, Kizaru began to dematerialize. Using Conqueror's Haki to knock his opponent off balance, he swung his sword hard, attempting to embed it in his chest. But Kizaru managed to outrun him, turning into light and dodging the sword.
Kizaru, transformed into light in the air, didn't know where to go. Dante's Conqueror's Haki made him unsure of where to land. He felt that if he landed in a specific place, he would be sliced by it. He materialized in midair.
The moment he fully materialized, he felt a great surge of Haki behind him, and when he turned around, he saw Dante, covered in swords of light on his body, staring at him, his fist exuding a strong level of both Conqueror's and Armor's Haki. This shocked him for a second, just what Dante needed.
Dante: "Heruzu Fisuto," he said, punching Kizaru in the face.
Kizaru was able to use Armor Haki to defend himself, but with Dante's strength, he used as much Conqueror's Haki to enhance his attack, along with Hardening, Emission, and Destruction. Hopefully, it helped.
Just as if he were a shooting star, Kizaru traveled at the speed of light to the ground, creating a crater and shattering the area within a 20-meter radius.
The wind current traveled throughout the city, caused by Kizaru's crash to the ground.
Dante's POV
[You have defeated an Admiral; his bounty is 500,000,000,000 LP.]
[You have defeated a Kizaru; his bounty is 1,200,000,000,000 LP.]
My happiness was momentary, as I had to check on Kizaru's condition.
I quickly went down to where he had fallen; the place was filled with smoke, but it gradually faded, only to see Kizaru's almost lifeless body.
His face was clearly visible from the punch I had given him, almost deforming his face, his face covered in blood.
I watched his breathing, and when I saw him inhale slowly, I calmed down.
I didn't kill him; I just knocked him unconscious. And when I relaxed, I felt my whole body ache.
My wounds, burns, and bruises hurt, and my whole body felt like it was wired.
I ended up kneeling on the ground, vomiting a large amount of blood. With luck, I felt like I was able to stand. If I hadn't made that 7-day deal, maybe it wouldn't have ended so badly, just maybe.
Also, I have to consider that if I hadn't done that, I would never have encountered Kizaru. I can only be happy with the achievement points I earned for defeating him.
I currently have 3,048,430,290,000 LP; I'm almost there until I have Ea.
Balesca: "You don't look good at all," she said simply; she had several wounds on her body, along with a closed eye that was oozing blood.
Dante: "You don't look very well either. Is your eye okay?"
Balesca: "It grazed me a little, but it'll be fine; I'll still be able to see with both eyes." He said with a victorious smile.
Dante: "Let's get out of here. I know a good doctor."
Balesca: "Shall we leave this island?"
Dante: "No," I said as I walked to the factory, "we're going to the palace, but now we'll go find Yamato."
...
After finding Yamato, who was saving the proletariat and dodging the weak marines, we went to the palace where the king and queen were.
When I arrived, I ignored them, took all his things, and ended up sitting on the king's throne. I had no intention of taking the kingdom as my own, and knowing that its economy was going to go to shit, I had no choice but to call Marco.
I had to tell him everything that happened, so he convinced the old man to come to the island to check on me and the place.
The heavenly tribute could no longer be paid, so we got all the marines out of this place. They took an unconscious Kizaru and a Doll in her final stages of mourning, too depressed to do anything.
It was understandable, but that doesn't mean she couldn't do anything. Arthur must have made too strong an impression on her to affect her that much. I hope she recovers soon.
Marco and the old man will take a while to arrive, so we decided—in other words, Yamato and Balesca did it—to fix what we could on the island.
The kings of this place had left with the marines, so the power hierarchy was broken. And unlike a certain revolutionary group, I don't plan on leaving the people of this place helpless.
She found some nobles and people who knew how to govern and how the former kingdom worked, all of this because I thought I was wounded to the teeth, so I didn't go with Balesca and Yamato and stayed in the palace.
With these people, we made plans, using time and possibly money we didn't know where to get, to put this place in order.
In the process, I decided that the island would be governed by an expanded parliament. These people would discuss the changes and renovations to the country, and the people could debate and decide whether to accept them. This would be approved with at least 51% approval.
This was temporary while the place was fixed; once all these changes were over, a more democratic system would be implemented with elections for a representative, a minister, and a president. These three people would govern the island, being democratically elected.
And that's as far as I'll go; after that, let them sort themselves out.
After five days, I could walk without problems, but I couldn't exert much force, as my wounds would reopen, since there's not much medical care here, so they only gave me first aid.
They were close to the Red Line, so it didn't take long for them to come here.
The next day, Whitebeard's ship would arrive, along with Marco and a few others.
There, they would see my wounds and heal them more efficiently. At the same time, I would tell the old man everything that had happened.
After a long conversation, I managed to convince the old man that this island would be part of his protection.
That way, the pirates wouldn't attack the island, which would give them time to resurface.
The old man took it as a favor to me and compensation for all the beatings he had given me.
So we stayed on the island for another day and then left. We took the Skíðblaðnir on the side of the Moby Dick, so he wouldn't have to summon it for anything, knowing that Yamato and Balesca knew the ship was still on the island.
I also had to explain how I met Balesca and everything that surrounded her so he wouldn't mistake her for a "lover" or something like that, like what happened with Yamato.
I also told them about Sakura and Akiko, the maids I left behind in Wano Country. I had to say I wanted to bring them to Celestia's to help her with the baby issue. That way, she could focus on her work while the maids took care of the house, and both of them would take care of the two babies.
The easy part was telling them; the problem was when I spoke to Celestia, but everything can be fixed, even if it's through blood.
I spent another day on the boat and decided to go alone to do some things. I asked them to leave Yamato and Balesca at Sphinx. They'll see what happens there; don't involve me, I'm hurt. And I left.
First I went to Amazon Lily, which took me almost half a day. I had an encounter with some younger girls, but with Sandersonia's intervention, I was saved from being castrated. In the end, I went far away from civilization to sleep, since it was nighttime.
The next day, Boa Hancock, her sisters, Sandersonia and Marigold, and the person I wanted to see, Luna, arrived.
My relationship with Luna is a bit strange; I feel like she sees me as a father figure, but not with much respect, as if I weren't an authority figure. I've tried to break that during the days I've visited her, but it's complicated.
Her personality changed from that of a cheerful girl to a lazier and more atypical one; Of course, her humor didn't fade; it just became more sarcastic and ironic.
I spent the whole day with the four of them; it was like a family reunion. Luna saw Boa and her sisters as aunts, since they saw me as their older brother. A somewhat awkward but pleasant situation.
I decided to spoil my daughter a little more and bought her a weapon from the system. The weapon cost 20,000,000,000 LP, and it was somewhat incomplete, but I could fix that later.
I helped and taught her how to use the weapon, since it was larger than the Fusion Sword and somewhat complicated to maneuver.
However, the weapon had a boomerang function: when thrown, it returned to its wielder, along with some gloves.
(Note: See if you can guess.)
The next day, after breakfast at Boa's residence, I ended up infiltrating the place. I went to my next stop.
During my trip, I was thinking about Jeanne and Olympe, the two daughters I had with Galette; I didn't know how to go there to see them without causing any conflict. I had spoken with Pekoms, but he recommended that I not communicate with Galette or anyone there. Now that I was a Devil Fruit user, I'd most likely be imprisoned for life, causing Big Mom to try to conceive children with her and her daughters.
Obviously, I can avoid it, but it would cause conflict with them, something I want to avoid.
In the end, the best option is to do nothing, even if I don't like it.
Regarding the other children I have, I don't know where they are or who their mothers might be. Throughout my trip, I had some pretty intense moments of debauchery, having a few, one of which I remember well was a MILF mother and her two daughters.
Such good memories, except that she was married, something she kept from me. A good memory, but it doesn't stop it from being full of problems, like the other memories with 90% of the women I've slept with.
But now I'm a married man, and I'll only have sex with my wife and no one else, something I try to do, since fate plays tricks on you that can't be avoided with an "I don't want to."
Finally, there's Gil. Apparently, he's doing well. He'll soon be able to join the Marines as a real member of the organization. He only needs a few years, since he has the character and strength to be a captain, at the very least.
I've had little interaction with him since I became a criminal, but that's common sense. In that sense, there's not much I can do.
In case you're wondering, Gil and Luna are 11 years old, and Jeanne and Olympe are 5. Just to remind myself.
After three days, I arrived back in Wano; I was talking with Hitetsu about what had happened on my playthrough.
To sum it up, chaos.
When Orochi found out what I had done and that I had betrayed him, he became paranoid. He ran around the Flower Capital trying to find out if there were any other traitors in their ranks. Through good luck, or through his incompetence, he discovered nothing.
He also tried to force Kaido to go after me, but Kaido not only ignored him but also threatened to stop or he would find someone else to be Shogun of Wano. That stopped him, but it didn't calm him down.
After that, I put Akiko and Sakura on the boat and said goodbye to Hitetsu and went home.
It took me a day to get home, only to feel a murderous pressure on me.
I remember seeing Trini from afar. She was just praying to me and making a gesture like an enlightened one, as if watching over my soul, and for a moment I felt I should do the same.
I hadn't seen Balesca, only Yamato; As soon as he saw me, he ran away.
When I stood at the door of my house, I felt a pressure on me, as if the world were on top of me.
I only had to open the door for her to feel hell.
To summarize, Celestia managed to get a place built for her to torture people, what she called a place of free expression, so no one expects her to hide her true intentions.
I ended up blindfolded again, tied up with kairoseki chains, only I wasn't alone; Balesca was there, also in the same position, only she suffered twice as much.
From what she told me, she poisoned her food when she met her, gagged her, and tortured her. This was thanks to some comments and a joke about infidelity I made, something she regrets.
When she came, she would do a couple of things to satisfy herself, just a few things, since she was pregnant and it would be harmful to the fetus to do certain things. I can only say that whenever she saw the House of Free Speech, she would start by kissing me on the lips, then punch Balesca in the stomach, and when she finished, she would French kiss and kick Balesca in the head.
After a few months and much insistence on my part, along with the others, including the old man, she didn't release the two, saying she wasn't angry anymore and that she forgave them both, like a saint.
Of course, Balesca generated a great deal of hatred for Celestia, something she sadly couldn't express, since she was her boss's wife, Whitebeard's daughter, and had a child with another on the way.
For my own sanity, I decided to act crazy, as if that time had never happened, just for my own sanity, something I recommended to Balesca, who barely attempted it.
Once I got out, I asked what had happened in the world, to which they responded with a newspaper.
Dante "the hero" demonstrates Yonkou-level strength by defeating Admiral Kizaru in his crusade for justice.
I just stared at him and ignored him, but something caught my attention. It was about the island where he had fought Kizaru. It spoke of the new system of government I had invented. And that the place was protected by Whitebeard.
It turns out that the place became a symbol for changing the system ruled by kingdoms and nobility, something the world government tried to eliminate, but since it was a place protected by the old government, they couldn't, at least without implying it was them.
The only thing I understood was that the government blamed me for this and that's why they had increased the reward, something I didn't pay much attention to, so I went on with my life as if nothing had happened.
----------------------------------------------------------------------
How was the chapter? Most of the things I wrote here came to me as I was writing; I wanted to make it shorter, but it ended up like this.
I wanted to talk about Celestia's actions and imply that she's a yandere, a real one in this world; Marie, Galette, or the others were just possessive or very jealous, wanting Dante to be hers alone, just like a normal couple, but Celestia isn't like that; she thinks differently, and I've thought about that writing intention from day one.
Celestia is a sadomasochistic woman who can't imagine her husband cheating on her or talking to other women, so she resorts to punishment, a punishment called torture.
If it weren't for the fact that I need Balesca for what follows, I could perfectly well write that Clestia killed Balesca, but I don't want to turn this into a dark seinen or anything like that. I just want to give a little more insight into Celestia's way of thinking.
I also want to share the list of potential members of Dante's harem, which will be available after the end of this arc. Since there are people who aren't up to date and want to give their opinions when the arc ends, I'm giving them the opportunity to write candidates from now on, only if they want; I won't force them.
Most likely, when the arc is almost finished, I'll open a section where all this harem-related information can be written, including both official and potential members.
That would be a good weekend.
