When Hilla came downstairs, she happened to meet Orlenna, who was going upstairs.
"Margaret refused to come down?"
When saying this, Orlenna took a stick and wanted to hit Margaret.
Hilla shook her head hurriedly. "Margaret is getting changed. Marriage is an important thing in a woman's life. She needs time. Mom, do not blame her."
If it was her, she might feel worse than Margaret. After all, she hated something like getting married for the family business.
If she was going to marry a man she didn't like, she was afraid that she would not appear at the engagement banquet.
She thought that Margaret would cry, or quarrel with Orlenna, and even escape the wedding.
However, out of her expectation, Margaret had only been sighing and lamenting these past few days. Margaret didn't appear to be rebellious as she expected.
"Why it took so long for her to change her clothes? It's just the engagement banquet. We didn't ask her to attend the wedding today. What is she doing upstairs?"
