Hilla thought Bruce's verbal apology was not sincere, but she seemed to be more annoyed about his action apology.
Bruce frowned. Just as he was about to ask how he should apologize in order to show his sincerity, a woman's soft and muffled voice came from the quilt, "I'm embarrassed."
"Oh!"
It turned out that she was shy. After being kissed, she went into the quilt and did not come out.
Bruce put down the computer in his hand and then lay down on the bed. The moment he turned off the bedside lamp, the room was filled with endless darkness.
In the dark, one could not see the fingers or anything. Only when one listened carefully could he hear another one's breathing beside him.
Hilla stuck her head out of the quilt in the darkness. She didn't have to worry that Bruce would see her burning red cheeks, and then she took a deep breath.
"The thing that I let you meet Julian is my fault. I sincerely apologize to you."
