The baby has his mother's smile. That was the first thing Ira had noticed.
"Can I...hold him?" Her voice shaking.
Pit grabbed the baby from Kela's arms, as she went back to sleep.
"You dummy. Why else did I bring you here?" Pit said slowly, trying to fight back tears of joy.
She held the baby in her arms. He wouldn't stop crying out loud, his arms flailing about. Ira brought him closer, and she whispered.
"Your parents are the greatest people to ever exist. Do them proud, hmm?"
Pit laughed from his belly.
"Of course you'd say that." Pit said while trying to wipe his tears. Suddenly, a pillow was thrown full force at his face.
"I'm trying to sleep.." Kela said while asking the nurse for another pillow.
Pit practically teleported next to Kela, stroking her hair.
With a voice as smooth as velvet, he said,
"That gave you a good workout, eh?"
She groaned in annoyance.
"You try giving birth."
"This is *our* baby. I did my work 9 months ago. So, yes."
Kela opened her eyes and stared into his soul.
"And I'm so glad you did.." As she went in for the kiss.
"Seriously? With me in the room...?" Ira said in an irritated tone.
Kela quickly shoved Pit aside, as he said "Hey!", knowing he got cockblocked.
The two sisters looked at each other with pure love. Pit felt happy, witnessing this.
Now he had a new objective.
Trying to ask the Department of Deviants for a maternity leave.
>>
3 months go by. Baby Atlas played with the sword casings lying around, that Kela had given him. When she was asked about it, all she said was,
"He's going to be a very powerful Defined anyways. Might as well."
Pit would look at her, and remember the fact that she was the only disciple of the Headmaster of Zahl Academy.
"How was he? The headmaster?" He asked.
Kela took a sip of coffee and placed the cup down.
"He was unlike anyone I've seen. You know, he is actually 35, but looks 17. How crazy is that?"
Pit couldn't believe it.
"Really?"
"Yeah. That is apparently a side effect of his Function. Whatever it is, I'll be scared to face it, believe me."
"Oh, I bet. I'm already scared of what you'd do when we're alone."
Kela scoffed and gave him a side eye.
"That's not even the-
Never mind." As she scratches her forehead, blushing.
"The Headmaster is a very simple person. At the same time, he has scary intuition, almost as if he could read people's emotions. He noticed me while there was this tournament called the Battle House, where it's this battle royale, free for all format.
Ever since then, he's been teaching me a lot of stuff."
Kela inspected her right arm, recalling how all of the bloody and deep scars came about.
"He's scary.
Reliable. Trustworthy.
But, scary.
Because he's the only person I've felt who had this omnipotent feeling."
Pit tried to deep this all. All he could afford to do was raise his brow, indicating he didn't understand anything.
Kela got up.
"I'll go feed the baby right now. Poor Atlas, already breaking woman's hearts, i.e my sister's." She went to the room where crying could be heard almost all day and kicked out Ira.
She left the room and slumped on the couch.
Her demeanor was different, Pit thought.
"Ira. You didn't tell Kela about what today is, right?"
She nodded, uneasy about lying to her own sister.
"I'll go right now."
"You don't have to."
A voice came from the window posted behind the couch. It gave Ira a dreadful feeling, as if the entire world was balanced on her chest. She couldn't breath. Pit turned his head to see a woman.
He stood up and grabbed the secret rifle he had under his couch and primed it, aiming at the woman.
His sights were dead set on her forehead, sweat dripping down his face. Ira spoke up, her voice shaking.
"Pit no. That's my mom."
Yet he didn't lower his rifle.
The woman, cladded in a purple scale-like outfit shot a devilish smile at her daughter.
"I found you."
It was all a blur. Pit couldn't comprehend how fast it had happen, only that, his eyes were clouded by the red mist.
Through the red mist, he could hear words inside his head.
"#### ##### ## ###."
What revealed in the dark red mist, was Venus's nails, protruding from Ira's neck. Her fingers deep inside her neck.
"You are something that never should have been made, Ira." She growled.
Venus shoves her fingers deeper, into the already lifeless shell of what was Ira, now reduced to a doll covered in red paint.
"You look just like her."
Venus lifted her right hand up, grabbing Ira's head along with it, and ripped it out of her body.
Pit couldn't speak, he couldn't react, he couldn't open his eyes. He knew what had happened.
He also knew he would be scarred for life if he opened his eyes.
He wanted scream so bad. He wanted to cry but,
Would that bring Ira back?
Tears slowly drip down his eyes in helplessness. He had nothing to do against this monster.
The monster opened her mouth.
"Where is my grandson?" Venus asked, as if nothing happened.
Pit opened his eyes, as he set eyes on Ira, her head still stuck in Venus's fingers.
He fell onto his knees, and began to cry.
"No…
I'm imagining things…
Ira is alive..
She's alive..
It's fine…"
Venus tossed the head infront of Pit.
Pit screamed, a blood curdling scream that made Venus smile inhumanely. He couldn't stop the tears from coming,
His childhood friend.
His roommate.
In a state like this.
Kela opened the door as fast as she could.
"Pit, what's wrong???"
"Kela. Your husband here invited me to your house."
Kela saw Venus, standing in the middle of the living room. Next to her, Pit was shaking vigorously, almost as if he was crying.
"PIT."
Kela darted towards him, almost ignoring her mother, who had arrived unannounced.
Kela stopped. As soon as it was visible to her, she stopped.
A head, infront of Pit, laid there lifelessly.
Kela could feel her eyes, welling up with tears.
She wanted to ask who it was.
But,
She knew.
She wanted it to be false.
"Pit.
Where is Ira…?"
She could feel her own voice quivering in fear.
He shook his head, trying his hardest not to cry.
Kela couldn't accept it. She turned towards her mother, not even looking at her.
"Mom.
Where.
Is.
Ira?" Her eyes still staring at the head on the ground.
"Look at it closely."
Kela walked towards the head. She picked it up, her hands shaking in fear, but her face completely still.
She turned the head towards her, revealing Ira's last expression before death.
A smile.
"Where is my grandson?" Venus asked again.
Kela didn't say a word. She walked back to the room and brought Baby Atlas, craddled in her arms, sleeping.
Venus smiled.
"Awwww. It's so adorable!"
Kela said nothing.
"I will be taking it. He needs to spend some time with his grandma. Right?" She asked nonchalantly.
Silence.
Venus's devilish smile became something more than a smile.
"Thank you.
I love you, Kela."
She dissapeared instantly. The whole room was filled with blood.
Kela kneeled, and grabbed Pit's hands and pried them away from his face.
"Pit."
He couldn't face her.
He did nothing. He couldn't do anything to save Ira. How could he face his wife?
"Kela….
I-
I couldn't do anything…." Pit slowly said, his voice still shaking.
Kela looked at him dead in the eye.
"She even took our son…"
Pit couldn't stop crying.
Kela began to caress the back of his head and brought him closer to her .
She hugged him as he was crying. He openly sobbed.
All Kela did was stare out the open door, watching her mother as she licked on the blood on her fingers.
Her eyes, filled with an emotion she had locked up before.
An emotion that had scared everyone around her.
>>
{ An Hour Later}
Pit had fainted after crying for so long.
Did Kela want to cry?
Yes, she did.
However, in her, was something that overshadowed her sadness.
Rage.
She lifted Pit up, and dropped him on the bed. She kissed his lips before tucking him in bed.
"I love you.
But,
Don't hate me for what I'll do."
Kela changed her clothes into a yellow sundress.
She stepped outside the house and closed the door.
She walked onward.
Unphazed by everytning that happened.

{Back In Zahl Academy}
"Kela. You went too far again."
Her arm was covered in deep scars and blood streaming down.
"I'm sorry, Headmaster."
"Don't be. You're incredibly strong. Don't ever overexert yourself. Then again, this dome room is almost impenetrable, so it can handle another one of your punches.
Also, I told you many times to call me Lye."
The 15 year old sat down at the edge of the room.
"Do it like I told you to do."
Kela cocks her arm back, almost twisting her body in the process.
[𝐒𝐢𝐧𝐠𝐮𝐥𝐚𝐫𝐢𝐭𝐲]
The intense wind pressure followed by Kela's punch escaped through the one noticable hold in the room. The boom came afterwards, vibrating violently in the room.
Kela's arm had for some reason healed itself.
She turned to Lye, his arm pointing towards her.
"You didn't have to heal me, Lye. I need to get used to it."
Lye walked up towards her.
"You're hiding something from me."
Kela put on a poker face.
"I'm not."
Lye took a while to respond.
"How many times can you use singularity?" Lye asked cautiously.
The poker face slowly deteriorated.
"What do you mean?"
"Don't bullshit me, Kela."
He dragged Kela directly below the hole that was on the roof.
" Don't think I don't know when you're using your Domain or not." He said this as he showed Kela the impact of her punch.
Through the hole, they could see the clouds torn apart.
Kela sighed.
"I didn't use my Domain."
Lye put his hands on his sides and walked around.
"I've raised a demon…"
"Kela, how many times can you use your full powered Singularity?"
Kela looked at her arm, all bloodied up. Her mind could only focus on the thrill of getting stronger.
"I can use it a million times."
"Then why torture your muscles? Fusing them with Domain is basically torture, doing surgery on yourself."
"To kill Venus, I can't use my Domain."
Lye looked at her.
"Whenever you need help, you know where to find me.
It's in both of our best interests to wipe out the Wilheim Family.
That's why you approached me in the first place, right?
After looking through my history?
Come to me when the time comes, and I'll tell you how to beat the Savant's Augen Gottes."
.
.
.
Kela grabbed her hairpin and made it into a straight line. She imagined a door, and used the pin as a key.
She suddenly found herself in a white room. Lye sat at his desk, who aged maybe 1 year since she last saw him.
"Kela. It's been a whi-"
Lye stopped talking. He could see mixed colors, splashed all across her body.
He understood that something big must have happened.
For the first time, Lye had regretted using his eyes.
"She killed Ira. She took my child."
Lye stood up and walked towards her. He hugged her, while her arms still stayed by her side.
After a while, he broke the hug.
"What should I do?"
"Leave Venus. Anyone else who attempts to kill me or stop me, rip off their arms."
"Is that it?"
"No…
Scratch the arms.
Rip their heads off."
>>
Lye and Kela set off for Borus. As Kela was about to stop a taxi, Lye stooped her.
"There's no need for that."
"But, Lye, you can use it with two people?"
Lye smiled. He grabbed her hand and they found themselves near the front gate. It was as if they each got condensed into a infinitesimal point and that point was reconstructed in the forests of Borus, right outside the Wileheim Mansion.
Kela vomited behind one of the trees.
"You alright??" Lye called out to Kela.
Kela wiped her mouth with some of the water she packed in her bag.
"Seeing you do that is one thing. But this?" She scoffed.
"What's the kid's name?"
Kela took a long pause.
"Atlas."
"That's fucking beautiful.
How is he?"
Kela looked up at the sky.
"He's a handful, that's for sure. But, he'll give Pit and I eternal happiness."
"That's the one you married?"
"It's a long story."
The two approach the gate. A familiar face greets Kela.
"Hiiya Kela. It's me John, remember? I'm good friends with Ira-"
"She's dead, John."
Lye could observe the rage bubbling inside her. He placed his hand on her shoulder in hopes that it would calm down.
"Oh…"
"John. You told me you have a search function a years ago."
"Yeah?"
Kela looked at Lye, who was on the same wavelength.
He nodded.
Kela faced John.
"I want your help."
>
"You want me to find every single Wilheim member and mark them..? "
Lye stepped in.
"Relay their locations to me. That's all you have to do."
"No.. no…
What are you planning, Kela..?
Who even killed Ira??
Isn't that who you're-"
"My mother killed her. I will be returning the favor."
John looked towards the mansion. He thought back to the good days he used to be very excited to be on duty.
"Aren't you younger than me?" John looked at Lye
"Child, don't even try it."
"Fine. I'll help you Kela."
John opened the gates. Three marched forward
John activated his function. He could filter out everyone who wasn't a Wilheim.
"Kela. Gerald Wilheim too…?"
"No. Leave him out. He was the only one in the family who tried to warn Dad."
Lye suddenly felt a burning sensation in his eyes. He was able to see every one of the Wilheims through the walls.
Lye smiled too much.
"Is this a deviant? This is such a cool function!"
"Thanks.."
Lye stretched himself.
"Kela, do you still want to take her on by yourself?"
"Lye."
She turned towards Lye with a frightening stare. It gave him goosebumps.
"She killed my sister Infront of me.
If you still doubt my strength,
Use your God Eyes on me."
Lye shook his head. He didn't want to look into her emotions again.
"I'll start."
"Wait. If they see any member of your family, you know they won't hesitate calling upon the entire Real Set.
Not to mention, this place has a minimum of Degree 5 Defined."
Lye gave her a wry smile.
"Then they bought themselves a second."
Lye disintegrated.
"John, tell me where Venus is."
"Kela. Don't die. Avenge Ira for me."
She nodded.
"Third floor corridor. Seems like she's going to her room.
If you're going right now, I wish you good luc-"
John had noticed only after a minute, that he was talking to the air around him.
He connected with Lye again.
~bzzzzt~
>>
Lye had spawned in the middle of the courtyard, surrounded by people making business deals, the maids and butlers tending to the cleaning.
He looked around. There were 12 Wilheim members, even some of the maids and butlers were family.
"Sweet revenge." He said under his breath.
"Excuse me, I'll give you one chance to leave, kid."
The business man got up from his seat and marched towards him. The man behind him, was...
"Ah...
This fucker is here too....?"
The man noticed immediately who the kid was, and began shaking.
"No. Norris stand down...."
Lye walked closer to them, with a big smile.
"Kyde Wilheim. The man who helped that bastard betray us!!!!!!! God I'm so fucking happy to see you here!!!!"
Lye exclaimed with a smile that was only hoped to be genuine.
Kyde gestured Lye to calm down
"Lye.... I-
I didn't know.."
"Shut the fuck up. Don't you let that name slip out of your pig mouth." Lye slowly approached the two, in a playful manner.
He slammed his hand on the table, and sat on top of it.
"Why are you here, Headmaster...?" His voice was shaking. He knew what Lye could do.
Lye grabbed an invisible string, and snapped it. Almost instantly, the business man's head was found on the ground, with a relaxed expression.
Lye laughed harder than he ever did in the past decade.
"Kyde. I'll tell you something. I came here to fuck everyone up but, the real storm is...
Kela Wilheim"
Kyde began to sweat profusely, he was feeling primal fear for the first time. Lye looked at him once.
The next moment, Lye appeared Infront of Kyde, grabbing his wrist.
"You know why Venus killed Ira, don't you?"
Lye slowly twisted his wrist. Kyde began to scream in pain louder and louder.
"Fuck....Please stop it....." He begged in between heavy breaths.
"Then why can I see you being hesitant to tell me?
You didn't hesitate to tell "them" about my secret.
The commotion caused multiple members to come outside. They all surrounded Lye, shaking in their armor.
"Headmaster Lye. Release Kyde right now."
~snap~
"Done." Lye tossed the head to the one dawned in white armor, with his Domain evidently flowing at the point in space.
"You have no reason to be here, You finished him off, and we know why. So, fuck off." The man said.
Lye looked at him closely, and that ethereal smile had returned.
"You...
You're part of the Real Set, aren't you???"
"I am the Second in command, Link Wilheim. If you do not listen to me, I'll summon everyone from the Real Set." He warned.
"Weren't you in my academy? Show some respect, child."
Lye snapped one of the threads and Link's legs buckled.
Link got up like it was nothing.
"Yes, I was one of your Primes. I don't think you'd remember." He remarked
"You're fun. Come on then, do your duty and kill me!! I've been waiting for this moment for years."
From almost all the directions, men in white armor and capes appeared.
"200? Is that everyone?" Lye asked genuinely.
"Our leader isn't here, so I'll have to make due"
Lye spread his arms across his body.
"Do you know that famous music piece? The one that was made by two artists that sold their souls?"
Link ordered the deviants to cage Lye in a Domain Manifest. A box of dense Domain had surrounded Lye.
The Addition Defined had boosted themselves, whereas the others all had their Domain Manipulation techniques ready to fire at Lye. The sound of Domain was buzzing throughout the forest.
Link stepped forward, confident that Lye couldn't escape the Manifest.
The next moment, all he could see was red.
Red, and Lye, surrounded by shattered pieces of the cage.
Lye began to play with the plentiful strings that surrounded him. In a speed, not describable, the heads of all of the Domain Boosters had rolled down the walls of the mansion instantly.
{Augen Gottes}
No one was able to use Domain Manipulation. The fear grew deeper and darker throughout the Set. Everyone rushed at Lye at once.
Lye had danced his way out of every single rouge punch and kick. He simply could see it all. The gusts of wind, following everyone's punch at Lye, had only given him relief from the scorching sun.
In the distance, he noticed someone walk out.
"Another Wilheim..."
Lye disintegrated and popped right next to the man.
The man couldn't even tell him off. His head rolled on the ground before he could let out any words.
"Yes...
This is what I wanted...." Lye cried out in glee.
"You sick fuck." One of the Real Set members said.
"You can't hear it can you, child?"
He stepped back in fear. All of them did.
Lye seeped his domain in the ground. Almost all of it was inside the deep earth.
"The bells..."
Lye said under his breath.
He pointed at the one man who talked.
"You...
I'll show you a masterpiece."
The entire forest that lay Infront of Lye had begun to vibrate slowly.
"You want to hear them?
No..
I won't let you...
It's a delicacy.
An eagasm.
Only I can enjoy them."
Lye placed his hand on the ground. As he brought it up, the entire area was encompassed by a Hexagonal Field.
"You guys know what this is, surely?
This is my concert hall!
The place where all of you shall die....
All of the members of the Real Set except that one man, suddenly began to float in the air, getting closer and closer.
Lye slowly formed a fist with his hand, which brought all of those men even closer together. He could hear the flesh squelching and the screams of the "Warriors of Jead" crescendo.
"RING YOUR HEART OUT.
LA CAMPANELLA"
