"Hah, Seven you made thank goodness." Mason said in shock. Suprised to see Seven just appearing out of nowhere. He sighed out of relief. Than he looked back at her, his helmet was off so Seven could she his expressions. "Seven, did George make it?" Seven grabbed George's dog tags and lifted them in front of her shaking her head. *sigh* Mason sighed his expression becoming somber. "No, Dammit we lost one more of our team." Mason said saddened. He lowered his head remaining a second quiet to remember George. He than looked back upto Seven, "I'll miss him a lot" Mason continued.
Elena heard Mason talking so she walked around the corner, she saw Seven standing and immediately rushed over to her. "Seven, thank God, you're alright" she said relieved, but she than noticed George wasn't with her. She than noticed Seven was holding dog tags, she began to worry, hoping it weren't George's tags. "Where's George is he alright? And who's dog tags are that? Please tell me they aren't George's dog tags." Elena said fear for George's life growing even more drastically. Seven raised her hand with the dog tags. She said "They are his." In a simple unemotional tone.
"No no no no no." Elena began mumbling. Seven walked over to her and handed the dog tags to Elena. Elena accepted them now beginning to sob. Seven placed her hand on Elena's shoulder, "His final words were." Seven began speaking in a unemotional tone. "I'm sorry that I couldn't keep my promise." Seven quoted what George said to Seven to tell Elena. in her unemotional tone. Elena was breaking emotionally, especially how Seven kept her tone so emotionless and cold. "And that he loved you." Seven finished again with no hint of emotion anywhere in her tone.
Elena finally broke out into full crying, she couldn't take it anymore the genocidal war with the Concord had taken everything from her, and now George along with it. And how Seven told what George said in his final words, with her emotionless tone. Just broke her. Amelia came running around the corner hearing Elena crying and Seven talking. "Seven, your back, good to see you again. And George..." *sigh* Amelia said with a sigh at the end. She knelt down next to Amelia to comfort her.
Mason placed his right hand on Seven's left shoulder. "You don't sound bothered by George's death, Seven, why?" Mason asked Seven. Seven looked at him her emotionless helmet reflecting his face back to him. "This isn't the first time, I saw people die." Seven said emotionless. "Saw people die? I seen many die too, Seven. civilians fellow soldiers." Mason responded. "But George was our team mate, our friend..." Mason wondered off George's death hurting him deeply. "Team mates, friends. I have seen them die. I always am the only one left." Seven finished her tone more cold. "I-Uh, mm, I'm sorry Seven, I didn't know." Mason replied. He than turned his head and removed his hand from Seven's shoulder.
Ivan than got around the corner hearing all the commotion. "Haha, Seven you made it great to see you again." Ivan said happily he than realized Elena was sobbing. "I assume the big guy didn't make it?" Ivan asked his tone growing a somber. "He stayed behind to detonate the bomb." Seven replied.
"Hmph, of course he did, he had to go with the big boom didn't he?" Ivan joked a bit remembering some good memories with the big guy as he called him. Mason turned around. "I guess so huh. Mason replied to Ivan. Amelia turned her head to Mason."Sir we should now contact General Brant. We have everyone now." Amelia suggested to Mason. "You're right, Three."
At'aria looked around the corner hearing what happened. "George is dead? She said almost crying. "Yes he's dead." Seven replied in her emotionless tone. "No..." At'aria responded softly she sad down and also began crying George had been extremely nice to her. He was always there when she needed something or didn't know anything.
Elena heard At'aria cry. She stood up and walked over to her to give her a hug, At'aria accepted it. "George, was a sort of father figure for the girl." Mason replied. Mason turned to the raptor, walked over to the cock pit and connected his comms to the Raptor's communication device. He contacted General Brant hoping he was still alive and that the Raptor's signal could break through the Concord jamming. A minute or two past, when finally a singal message came through. "Get- t- Gaurdi- an- ba- s- e- hon- te- am---." Than the signal broke completely. "Dammit I only got a single message from Brant. We have to go to Guardian Base for some reason." Mason said to his team.
"Guardian Base, why crawling with Concord by now." Amelia replied. "I know and I don't like it either. But there is probably something important that was left behind that wasn't retrieved or important data that wasn't wiped." Mason responded. He walked over and sat down on one of the two gunners seats of the Raptor. Seven walked up to the cock pit and jumped in.
Ivan walked up to the still somber girls and knelt down next to them. "Girls it's time to go. There's mission waiting for our asses to complete it." Ivan tried to cheer them up. Elena looked to him and replied "Ha ha, very funny." She responded with a annoyed tone. Ivan help the two up as they stood up.
"You two ready?" Mason asked the the two somber girls. "We are." Elena said soft still somber. "Alright, let's go." Mason responded. At'aria and Elena walked up and got in. Amelia followed. Ivan walked upto the second gunner seat. And got took the second gunner seat.
Seven turned on the Raptors engines and twin rotors and took off. The Raptor left its covered and hidden position. It traveled a few hundred meters until some Silvoths attempted an attack on the Raptor but Ivan and Mason quickly dealt with them opening up fire from the Raptors auto cannons turning the Silvoth group into minced meat. "Damned Silvoths" Mason remarked. "Luckily it was a Concord fighter those will shoot us out of the sky very quickly. Which will probably happen soon" Amelia responded. " You're right" Mason replied to Amelia. "But we will be there soon only 6 clicks, now than we will be there only a minute from now. so let's hope we get luck and no fighters intercept us." Mason continued. "Yeah let's hope so." Amelia replied.
Date: 22-08-2550. 18:34 AM. Location: Guardian Base.
The Raptor approached Guardian Base, Seven extended the Raptor's landing gear, it folded out wards. A few seconds later it landed onto the ground in a hanger bay of Guardian Base. We are here Mason told everyone he grabbed his RA rifle from his back, stood up and stepped out of the Raptor.
Amelia did the same the others than followed as well. Seven turned off the Raptor it's engines coming to an halt. The rotors stopped spinning. Seven jumped out of the cockpit and closed it. She than equipped her Plasma pistol in her right. Hand and one off her two plasma swords In her left hand. She checked both of them they were in good condition.
Seven looked forwar, than walked forwards joining the others as they were walking towards a heavy blast door that lead deeper into Guardian Base. Amelia walked over to the side panel of the blast door she pressed the panel and the door began slowly opening up. Amelia got back into potion with the others.
"Remain alert, Concord are probably swarming this place." Mason ordered his team. The others nodded. They all readied themselves, for any threat that maybe behind that door. The door finally fully opened. And they went through. They faced a junction, Amelia checked the right hallway, Elena the left hallway and Mason the Hallway that went straight. "Clear" all three said silently. Mason gestured them to follow him. "We are going to the armory first reload and restock otherwise we will run out of ammunition. Everyone nodded. And they began moving forwards slow and steady. It was dark in the hallways the normal lights were off. As the emergency power was on powering the emergency lights, casting a red hue throughout Guardian Base.
Honor team make it's way slowly through the hallways. They saw dozens of corpses of soldiers in one hallway both human and Concord. Seven scan the air around them and listening very carefully. The was a slight hint of movement in the air. there was also the slightest of distortions in the very rough shape of a very tall humanoid coming from the left hallway they were passing.
Seven immediately wrapped her right arm around At'aria, careful not to hurt her. Seven's grip could fracture bones and her arm strength shatter them. Seven pulled At'aria backwards just as a plasma blade a activated and sliced the area At'aria just was. Seven let go of At'aria engaging the invisible Senglo into a duel.
Which the Senglo didn't expect he parried a stake from Seven's plasma sword. The others of Honor team react but didn't fire as to not hit Seven. Seven placed her plasma pistol back on her waist. Before striking again with significant greater force in her next strike, it was a heavy swing from Seven. The Senglo was pushed backwards staggered in the process.
Than Seven grabbed his wrist and twisted it backwards shattering the Senglo's bones He screamed in pain in response. Seven than smacked her right fist against his head smacking the Senglo a few meters to her right against the wall. The Senglos energy shielding to the hit from the smack from Seven. The Senglo landed onto his butt on the ground. When he looked upto his hand he saw it was tangling on his left arm. The fear set in for him realizing that Humanity had created such monstrous soldiers. He had only heard legends about Riftans but that they were real truly terrified him now.
He started to get up but was stopped in his movement when Seven, placed her right boot on his left upper leg Seven, applied force slowly preventing the Senglo's energy shield from responding. and eventually snap the upper leg bone snapped under the pressure of Seven's boot.
Seven Than grabbed him by the throat and tore it off. The rest of the neck remained attached to the Senglo. His head was now dangling on the half remaining neck. At'aria looked away disgusted she never liked blood. Seven threw the blood of her armor and looked at Mason giving a him a nod. He give a nod back Than gesturing all of them to continue.
They all remained on higher alert after that. Seven equipped her Plasma pistol again and continued on like the others. They passed through another hallway. Their foot steps barely making a sound. Seven looked back noticing movement, Seven fired a plasma bolt onto the movement it hit the movement it was a Concord it fell to the ground. A Silvoth Seven noted in her mind the others saw what was happening. Mason kept looking forwards seeing movement as well. He opened fire killing 5 Durtans before they could open fire on Honor team.
Seven dodged several plasma shots from another Silvoth Seven returned a plasma shot. It hit directly on the Silvoths head killing her instantly. Honor team began pushing forwards killing anything in front. Seven took point having a plasma sword equipped the others now also switched to plasma weapons as their ammunition ran out. A Senglo with plasma sword in hand, jumped at Seven from a hole in the ceiling, above Seven, Seven holstered her plasma pistol back on her side and than grabbed the Senglo by the arm smacking him onto the ground extremely hard, amplified with her own immense strength and the Senglo's downwards movement.
The Senglo got dazed from the impact. Seven made us of this immediately crushing the throat of the Senglo killing him immediately. Seven grabbed the Senglo's plasma sword and threw it at Mason, he catched it. "Thanks Seven!" He shouted to Seven. Seven gave a nod. Before punching a Durtan in the face, punchering the entire face side of the skull into fragments. Mason at the same time cut through the next of a Durtan and sliced into the torso of a Krovon killing the Krovon.
They killed off the last few stragglers and moved forwards again. Their path to the armory was a slow one enemies every where but eventually they made it. Mason pressed the side panel of the armory, it's blast door opened surprisingly it wasn't locked. They moved in their weapons pointing to each corner of the armory it was clear Seven moved in as last. She pressed the panel on this side of the blast door. It closed and Seven than locked it on this side.
Mason turned around and said "Clear." Before pulling off his helmet and taking a deep breath. He continued again, "reload your weapons or switch them. And restock your ammunition." He ordered everyone nodded. "Good, after this we are going to find what object we were send to get or destroy." Mason finished. He turned around and walked over to a weapons rack. Seven walked to a different weapons rack, she threw the plasma weapons onto the ground but keeping one plasma sword, it had proven very useful to her in hand to hand combat. Seven grabbed a box of ammunition of each 3 types she needed for her three RA weapons. She first grabbed her RA shotgun from her back, she reloaded it's ammunition chamber. She checked it's condition, no damage. She than attached it to her back again.
Than her RA pistol, she unloaded the magazine from the RA pistol. She placed the pistol down on a shelf with different weapons. She reloaded the magazine. Than grabbed the RA pistol again she inspected it. It was slightly damaged, plasma damage to be exact. Some just have barely hit the pistol when she dodged the constant plasma bolts from earlier.
She walked over to a different shelf with weapons one that still had one RA pistol she swapped it for her damaged one. It was the same model. She slid the now reloaded magazine into her new RA pistol and holstered it on her side.
Seven than grabbed her RA rifle. She unloaded it's magazine and looked at it's condition, it was still in good condition, no damage. She placed it down on the shelf and reloaded the it's magazine she held in her hands. She than picked the RA rifle up again and inserted the magazine back into the weapon. She than reattached the RA rifle to her back.
She than grabbed all her ammo magazines she was carrying and dumped them on the ground all were nearly completely empty now. She walked to a ammunitions crate, she opened it and grabbed each magazine for each of her weapons and placed them in slots in her armor. She was finished reloading and restocking.
She walked to Mason whom also just finished reloading. He looked at her and gave a nod the others too finished reloading and reaming themselves. They walked back to the entrance blast door of the armory. Seven walked up to the panel pressed it. than placed her bad against the wall and aimed her RA Shotgun at the blast door.
The others too took cover and aimed their weapons at the blast door. It opened up, nothing but the silent air of the hallways. Seven took a few steps sideways to her right and looked through the opened blast door she looked from left to right, again nothing but silence not even footsteps from invisible Senglos.
Seven looked back to the others and gestured it was clear. However Seven than got a highlight on her display it was signaling a way to her. "Sir, I got a highlight on my interface display." Seven said to Mason in a quiet emotionless tone. "Mh let's follow it, Seven maybe it'll point us to the thing we were supposed to do here." Mason replied to Seven. Seven nodded in response and she checked the hallway one more time, clear it was still clear and dead silent.
Seven walked through the blast door and into the hallway, the others followed her. Honor team slowly moved through the hallways highly alert. It was silent too silent. Seven stopped looking around the corner, nothing she gestured to continue. The took the hall left .
The continued onwards however Seven heard something a the slightest sound, she aimed her RA Shotgun to the others whom got out of the way. She than fired the shotgun shell spread open and pierced the shields of the invisble Senglo behind them. It killed the Senglo, than silence there was nothing Seven listened carefully only silence they were clear for now. "How the hell does Seven even hear them? Aren't we also supposed to hear those Senglos sneak on us?" Elena remarked.
"Seven, probably has superior augmentations maybe even on the level of the Riftan-IIs they could see the invisibility cloaking armor just barely distorting the light around the Senglo weaking it." Amelia responded to Elena as they moved through the hallways.
They were now approaching the center of Guardian Base. A few Durtan, Silvoths, and Krovon assaulted Honor team but they were dealt with At'aria shot a Durtan in the head. He was confused seeing a Quorthian with the Devils, before his brains were blown out by At'aria's shotgun.
However a Elsari was in the hall where Seven's display pointed them too. Seven than gestured everyone to stop and take cover. The Elsari was flying towards them but it seemed she hasn't noticed Honor team yet. Seven waited patiently behind the wall she readied her plasma sword, not activatiny it just yet, instead just waited for the Elsari to pass.
The Elsari flew passed Seven she looked around but didn't see the devils she was warned about by her fellow Concord. Seven moved up behind her Seven's foot steps dead silent. Seven activated the plasma sword. The slight hiss it made broke the concentration of the Elsari as she turned around to face the hiss sound she heard.
Than a strike directly into her head. The Elsari fell to the ground she barely saw Seven when she swang the plasma blade into her head. Seven turned around no Concord they seemed to not have heard the plasma sword or seen it's red glow. The others of Honor team heard the plasma sword. Mason Took a look discreetly, he saw Seven standing victorious. He sighed of relief Seven looked at him, she gestured it was clear he nodded. Mason looked to the others and gave the clear sign.
They nodded and like Mason stood up from their covers. They all got behind Seven again for her to lead the way. Honor team than moved into the hall where the Elsari just was. Dozens of Concord but they were wiped out very quickly by Honor team. It was now clear again. Seven than walked upto a hallway that lead to only a few rooms. She pointed this way. "You sure? There are only empty rooms there." Mason said silently responded to Seven.
She didn't reply back instead walking into the hallway and into the furthest room in the small minor hallway. The others followed her but they all saw nothing. Ivan stood by the door keeping watch. "I knew there nothing here you sure this is the place Seven?" Mason reacted to Seven.
"Yes" she said her unemotional tone. However than a secret door opened. Seven looked to Mason and pointed to the secret entrance. "That's the way?" Mason asked Seven, she gave a nod in return. "Boss Concord, dozens of Senglos and Elsari." Ivan warned Mason while he kept his eye on the Concord. "Great they sent an elite force to kill us." Mason responded to Ivan. Before he continued "Alright everyone go through the secret entrance." Mason Mason ordered.
Everyone nodded Seven took point and went in first, than Elena and Amelia, than Ivan and At'aria, and as lat Mason who walked in last the secret entrance's door than closed as a Senglo and a Elsari arrived in the room. They didn't see anything the wall seemed again how it was a plane unusual wall. The Senglo and Elsari didn't suspect anything. The two looked to each other and shrugged to each other, turned around and walked back to the central hall.
Honor team walked through a tunnel and as they walked through it heavy blast doors closed every few meters behind them and defense Turrets turned on as they passed by them. "They were definitely protecting something important or valuable here" Amelia remarked. "It's definitely something important." Mason responded.
Honor team stopped they reached the end of the tunnel. They found an elevator that went downwards but it was powered off. As Amelia went in to try and turn it back on, the Elevator turned on by Itself it seemed. "Strange?" Amelia said to herself. Honor team looked to Seven and she nodded. She stepped first into the elevator. The rest followed her it was a big elevator. It's doors closed and it began moving downwards slowly.
"Boss you know anything about this fun place were going? Ivan asked Mason, Mason looked at Ivan and Said, "No I don't, I have never seen or heard of this place of Guardian Base." Ivan nodded than looked to Seven, "And you Seven, do you know anything about it? You the one leading us to it, I think." Seven turned her head to Ivan and she responded with a cold unemotional "No." Before returning her gaze to the door of the elevators.
"Ok so I guess no one knows than?" Ivan asked. Amelia, now turned too look at Ivan and she replied to him, "No one knows what this place is Two." She than looked back into the direction she looked earlier. However than the elevator entered a vast under ground chamber. Honor team looked through the doors of the Elevator and gasped except for Seven. "Holy hell, what the fuck is that?" Mason remarked first. Amelia turned to him, "It's a ship an ancient one from what what it seems." She replied to Mason.
"Yeah but what is it doing here under New Amsterdam?" Mason asked. "I don't know it probably landed here thousands of years before we came here. Probably tens of thousands of years ago from how deep it's buried under the city." Amelia answered.
"Even than it's a strange ship like why is that large central ring in the middle of the ship. I guess we'll find out when we enter the ship." Mason finished. The elevator continued downwards, finally stopped 12 kilometers down in the surface of the Harvest.
The elevator doors opened and they stepped out. They raised their weapons just in case not knowing if Concord were down here or not. Honor team began walking through the large under ground chamber towards the ship. They saw heavy turrets as they walked towards the ship, those turrets were still operational. They continued onwards.
They now began approaching the ship it was kilometers long from what they saw. "The ship's massive, how in the ever living hell are we going to find this object we are supposed to find?" Elena asked. Ivan turned to face Elena around and immediately began joking, "Duh, by playing hide and seek how else are we going to find?" He joked to Elena. "Quit it Two! I'm not in the fucking mood for your stupid ass dumb jokes. Not after losing George!" Enela snapped back at Ivan.
"Uh, sorry. I just wanted to brighten up the mood of everyone, Six." Ivan said in a saddened tone, turning around his face now with a somber expression though hidden by his helmet. Mason looked at Elena, not saying a word. His stare was enough even behind that helmet. Enela felt bad for outburst.
"I-I'm sorry Ivan, it's was just bad timing." Elena said to Ivan. Ivan stopped and turned back and faced her. "No, you're right it was a dumb joke for in the moment." He turned around again not wanting to continue talking anymore.
Honor team finally reached the entrance, it was reinforced with a League wall and blast door it seemed to have once been a hole in the hull of the ancient alien warship. The entrance blast door opened up. And eight League mechanized troops came out equipped in the standard mech suit of the League.
The troops walked over to Honor Team. "Riftans, we have been waiting for you. The package is ready for you." The squad leader said to the Riftan. They looked to each other. Before Mason looked to the squad leader again. "What package?" Mason asked. I do not know, but it will be revealed to you. When you get to picking up the package. My job was only to protect this place."
Mason gave a nod. The squad leader than gestured for them to follow him. Mason nodded to his team who nodded back. Honor team then began followed the squad leader. They all walked to the blast door again and walked through it into the ancient ship. Honor team looked around when they passed through the ancient hallways. They saw the ship ship had begun to fall apart through the thousands of years it had been under ground with no maintenance.
"I'm surprised the ancient ship is still in one piece." Mason said to the squad leader. "Yes I was suprised too when I first arrived here.
They continued through dozens of corridors and hallways through the ship. Until they reached another heavy blast door. It opened on it's own. "Honor team this is where you need to be walk right through." The squad leader said, he than walked away before Mason could ask for where to go further.
Mason looked to the others and gestured for them to follow him. They than entered the area in the ship behind the blast door. They continued onwards through the ship Seven leading the way. Her display still showed where to go. They reached the last blast door, it also opened on it's own. Honor team walked in to the room which the blast door lead in.
They saw a scientist standing her back to them she seemed to be talking to someone. "Not a step further Riftans." The scientist said she turned around to face Honor team. "Wait where is George?" She asked. Mason took off his helmet and asked the scientist "why are you asking that, do you know him or something?" The scientist looked him with a stare. "I'm his mother." So, yes I know him, because I raised him. Until he became a Riftan-II" The scientist replied in an slightly hostile tone.
"I see, well to answer you, he's dead. He died about 18 hours ago when he and Honor Seven over here destroyed the Concord supercarrier." Mason answered. "What no that can't be..." the scientist replied in an shocked tone. "He was one of the best." She continued on. "I'm sorry ma'am but even the best die in war." Mason replied to the scientist. "You don't have to point that out." She replied hostily. "So why did youmake it, Seven? and not him, Huh?" The scientist continued on hostily. Seven however looked her dead in the eyes her helmet reflecting the scientists face. And she didn't say a single word to the scientist. "Mhp, remaining silent huh? Of course you do your a lone wolf after all. And to think she chose you." The scientist said. "Ma'am who are you anyway?" Mason asked. "Oh right I didn't introduce myself yet, huh?" The scientist said sarcastically.
"I'm Doctor Laura Madison, they often call me the "mother" of the Riftan-IIs." She said. "Mh, to think we would get to meet the one who made the Riftan-IIs'" Amelia answered with an uninterested tone. "Be more respectful. Because of me humanity still stands." Madison responded in an annoyed tone.
"Ha, rich it was our blood that was spilled that kept from extinction. We Riftan-IIIs were the ones who got sacrificed for humanity. Not the Riftan-IIs who always got the best equipment and only lost a few thousand. Yet most of us Riftan-IIIs now are dead 115.000 of us and even now we still use the ancient mark 2 Excalibur Armor. So shut up about the Riftan-IIs having kept humanity standing till now. It was us not them who did that." Amelia interjected.
Seven looked to both arguing and final broke of their back and forth by asking, "who chose me." Seven said in an emotionless tone Madison turned to look at Seven. "She did. A blue holographic AI women appeared on the holographic table in the middle of the circular room.
"Why?" Seven asked the AI. "Because you are best and most cable to transport me and keep me safe." The AI responded. "And who are you, AI?" Mason asked the AI. "I'm Corthania." She responded. "Where do you need to go?" Seven asked. "To the Forward Until Dawn. In located in the old Farhan shipyard" Corthania replied.
"The Forward Until Dawn that's one of our supercarriers. Mason reacted. "Correct, their mission was to wait for me. I was supposed to be delivered to them a day ago. However, New Amsterdam is now being besieged. Which preventing me from being transported as nearly all Riftan-IIIs that were on planet were deployed to fight take out the Concord supercarrier in orbit." Corthania answered.
"Is Seven supposed to deliver you alone to the Dawn?" Amelia asked Coria. "No all of you including the Quorthian. Will bring Mr instead. And if we all make it unharmed we will leave the planet on the Forward Until Dawn." Corthania answered Amelia. Amelia looked to Mason. "Sir this ticket off the planet." Amelia said to Mason. Mason looked Back to her and responded, "You're right it's our shot. This is probably the last League ship on the planet."
Mason then looked to Corthania. "Though Coria, does the Concord know about the Dawn?" Mason asked Corthania. "No, from what information I have they do not yet know about the Dawn but that soon change as they are beginning to push into the Farhan desert." Corthania answered.
"Alright than, let's go the more we waste here the higher they discover the Dawn." Mason answered. "Doctor, extract Corthania from the holographic table." Madsen rolled her eyes and pressed a button. Corthania's hologram disappeared.
And a part of the table opened up where a AI chip became visible. Seven walked over to it. Seven grabs the AI chip from the holographic table and plugs it into her helmet. Corthania integrated herself into Seven's armor. "Well it's a bit cozy in here isn't it?" Corthania joked. "Don't get any funny ideas." Seven responded not giving a hint of laughter.
Madison than walked over to a container. She bend down and opened it she grabbed two devices. "Seven, because you are the one on transporting Corthania I'm giving you these, Portable Shield Generators also known as PSGs these generator energy shield shields to protect you." Madison said.
As she walked to Seven's back and attached the two PSGs to here back. Seven gave a nod to Madison and she gave a nod back to Seven before Madison turned around. "Soldiers get me out of here." Madison ordered a few soldiers. Who than escorted Madison out of the chamber.
"Warning, Matriarch Nayssa has arrived. The same one you got nearly killed by a few days ago." Corthania warned honor team. "Fuck not her we really have to get going now." Mason said fear in his tone. "Sir she doesn't know we are down here yet. So we have time." Amelia replied to mason." That's not what I'm worried about Three, we can't leave without her tearing us apart. Either on foot or in vehicle. We have to go Guardian base again to get an Osprey, which will get us out of here. But with that damn Matriarch Nayssa here, she'll rip us right out off the sky.
"I'll deal with her than." Amelia said boldy. "What?!" Mason responded in shock. "You're not going to do that Three you won't stand a chance." Mason continued. "I'm not gonna face here directly, I'm going to blow this sky high." Amelia argued back. "There is a several kiloton nuclear warhead here enough to destroy Guardian Base alongside that fucking Matriarch. It's our only option and it'll also weaken Concord's leadership leading such a massive blow to them is something we can not give up. That's also why we destroyed that Concord supercarrier remember?"
Amelia continued her argument. "I'm going to this whether you want it or not Mason. I'm sorry but it's our only choice if we want to get you all out alive. And detonation it from range is to risky. I'm going to sacrifice myself so that can get out." Amelia finished with a somber tone.
*sigh* "Alright do it than." Mason responded with a deep sigh. "You'll have ten minutes when we get out elevator that leads back to Guardian Base." Amelia said. Mason nodded and placed his helmet back on. "Let's move everyone." Mason ordered.
"Amelia, you too huh just like George." Elena said nearly crying. "I'm sorry Elena but it's our best shot." Amelia answered Enela. They both hugged a short moment before separating. Honor team than ran through the ancient ship back to the Elevator all the troops had left before honor team passed through. They reached the elevator and got in.
Seven pressed the button and it began moving back up to Guardian Base. The elevators doors closed and it began going back up to shield base. It slowly went back up to the entrance they came entered originally from. Mason turned to face Amelia he placed his right hand on Amelia's left shoulder. "Amelia, before you go final mission. It's been an honor to work with you. At least I get to saw this before you, hhhmmm. *sigh* you know what I mean." Mason told Amelia.
"I know, and like wise with you sir. And with all of you guys." She replied. Elena gave one final hug to her friend. "I'll miss you a lot Amelia." Amelia returned the hug and replied to Elena. "I'll miss you too Elena. You are my best friend." Elena
Ivan walked up to her next. "Thanks for, hmph, haha, sticking with all my shitty jokes all these years, Three." He said to Amelia. "Hahaha, no problem Two, and to to think I'll actually be free them call it fair deal." Amelia responded snarkly back. "Haha, that's what I always liked about you, you still laugh and joke, even now when death is now waiting for you. Just like yours truly." Ivan responded back to her. "Ha! I'll see you when you die, in a bar where will drink. And it'll be on me." Amelia replied jokingly back. "Haha! You've have gotten yourself a deal old friend." Ivan finished their conversation.
Amelia looked to At'aria "And you At'aria, we haven't known each other for very long, but good luck to you." Amelia said to her. "Thank you Amelia, yo were nice to me and I thank you for that. So good to you as well." At'aria responded back to Amelia.
Amelia turned to face Seven as last. Seven hadn't said anything to her yet. " I know Seven you do still care a bit. Even though you have seen so many friends and teammates die from what you said earlier. I saw that little gesture you made with George back at Shield base nearly a week ago now. And the countless times you saved us. You do still care a bit at least, about us."
Seven looked at her and gave a final nod to Amelia. She than rose her hand to her head and saluted Amelia just as the elevator came to an stop and it's doors opened. Amelia saluted back to Seven before she grabbed her RA rifle and left the elevator first. Heading for the warhead. Amelia disappeared from the view of them all. *sigh* "Alright everyone let's go we have ten minutes to get the fuck out off here." Mason told everyone who was left.
Honor team left for the hanger bays of the base. Seven grabbed At'aria and placed her on her shoulder as Honor team began to sprint as fast as they physically could. Matriarch Nayssa was somewhere and they preferred not to encounter her. Honor team passed through hallway after Hallway. Killing hundreds of Concord along the way Seven dealt with a few Elsari along the way.
They finally reached the Hanger bay. Seven got first to an Osprey she ran into it with At'aria still over her shoulder. She placed At'aria in one of the seats and than walked over to the cockpit's door. She pressed the side panel to open the cockpit's door, at the same time the others got in. Mason pressed the panel that closed the back ramp of the Osprey, it closed as Seven got into the cockpit seat.
"Seven get us out of here." Mason yelled. Seven raised her hand and pointed her thump up. Starting up the Osprey's engines and taking off. The Osprey with Honor team on board existed the hanger bay. Seven looked into the rear cameras and saw Matriarch' Nayssa with a growl, she had Amelia's deformed dangling corpse in her hand. As she was floating in the air. Near the entrance of the hanger bay. Shortly after guardian base detonated. It's several kiloton warhead detonated.
Matriarch Nayssa's powerful Trinotic barrier broke unable to hold back the nuclear explosion for long. She got enveloped by the detonation and turned to nothing but dust. Seven looked back to the what was infront of her. New Amsterdam was now fully being scorched to melted stone. They got out just in time before they were scorched too, like the ruins of New Amsterdam. Seven steered the Osprey into the direction of the Farhan desert when they left the New Amsterdam.
