During lunch break...
Kiera sat opposite Liam, her head slightly lowered. A plate of noodles was before each of them—though it remained untouched.
"So? Are you ready to tell me what is wrong?"
Liam's spoke softly yet the usual warmness in his voice was gone— replaced by something frightening.
"Hoh~"
Exhaling, Kiera clenched her trembling fists on her skirt and began.
"When I was transported to the Nirad Realm..."

She found herself in a dark forest which was eerily silent except for a few cricket-like sounds. The pale light from the moon chased away the darkness—though, only by a bit.
'Where is this? There's no record of any conquered region like this?'
With her thoughts turning darker, she failed to notice the cold red eyes staring deeply at her.
