I was alone once again.
After the threats pulled by Axel, I couldn't shake the fear that settled deep in my bones. Was I going to regret my decision? I was tossed between two men, and honestly, neither made things easy for me. At night, the image of Levi's smile haunted me, like his presence was still hovering.
Morning jogs were hectic because it felt like someone was always watching. Was it Axel? Looking for a smooth way to ruin my life some more. Was it Levi? Sifting through my life so he could present a shocker wrapped in goodies. Simple acts of favour I didn't ask for. Or was it the deadly stalker?
I was unable to wrap my head around the feeling that someone wants me dead. Maybe I am being overly dramatic. Then I gave the right to be, I am being threatened from every corner.
