Janice sat in the passenger seat and glanced at Christopher, who was driving. Then she remembered to ask, "By the way, how did you know I was there?"
Christopher would never tell her that he had sent someone to follow her. He glanced at Janice and said, "I was just passing by."
"Oh."
Janice didn't doubt him, she was thinking that after the conflict tonight, the situation might have changed for the worse. Thinking of this, she couldn't help but worry. She didn't notice Christopher's sullen face.
When they got home, Christopher cooked a simple dinner for her.
However, Janice had no appetite. She was still thinking about the interview.
She thought that she must write the draft out tonight and publish it immediately. Otherwise, once the public got hold of it, it would be very unfavorable to the workers.
Thinking of this, she put down the tableware and said, "I'm full."
As she spoke, she stood up.
"Wait."
Christopher spoke.
